VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Through Spacetime [Final] [Empiric]

Played for the first time EP 10 part 3: good writing and good renders.
What I liked:

Graphics: 5/5
Good looking characters, you see he put a good effort on them, not only the usual DAZ assets.

Characters: 5/5
Each one with its own background and way to behave and decide, as for the graphics you understand the dev tried to make them credible, coherent and not simple.

Story: 5/5
You see he planned the setting and the story, he's not sailing trying to understand where the story can go. It's a plus.
Good balancing with sex scenes, coherent with the story,

Writing: 5/5
I love the setting and even some insides about time and space, he did his researches and wrote them in a simple but accurate way. No grammar mistakes I noticed.

Humor: it's a plus you find some!

Definitely worth your time!

The Good:
- Most of the female characters look nice.
- Most of the sex scenes look really nice too.
- The developer has clearly put a lot of effort into their game and is improving. I hope they will continue to design more games in the future.
- The game is simple, which is evident as there are really only two major kinds of choices:
1) Watch sex scene/don't watch sex scene
2) Cum inside/cum outside
- There is no "Ugly" section in my review. The dev is a competent programmer. I didn't encounter any glitches or exploits of any kind.

The Meh:
- While I give the dev an A for effort, they probably would benefit from a proofreader. I've found a good handful of spelling and grammar issues, and and other basic mistakes. Oops!
- The story is linear to a fault, and it appears there are going to be only two endings all hanging on one decision at the end of the game. Not much here for replay value.
1) the "meh" ending, which is variable by pregnancies.
2) the conquest/king ending, which isn't available yet.
- The choices themselves are a little inconsistent. Sometimes you get an extra choice somewhere, sometimes you don't get a choice at all and you're stuck going through an ass-mouth-vag scene whether you're into it or not. That's what skip buttons are for.
- The sex scenes themselves are a bit inconsistent as well. Sometimes they're animated, sometimes they're not. Sometimes they have both animated and not-animated bits. While the animations improve as the game continues, I hope the dev will go back and fix the old ones.

The Bad:
- While most of the women look nice, almost none of them have any personality. There is: Eve the super slut, Natasha the doctor slut, Noire the wolf-girl slut, Nicole the brainwashed slut... you see the pattern here.
- Two supporting characters, Vira and Margaret drop off the map, completely forgotten. One of many amateur writing mistakes present in this game.
- The MC is probably the actual the villain in this story. For being the best pilot NASA ever had, he's a complete meat-head. He probably cheated into being a NASA pilot by fucking someone into submission.
He sometimes says he has principles, but he really doesn't have any moral principles at all. All he seems to care about is w/e gets him the most pussy.

Conclusion:
Through Spacetime isn't a bad game, but it did nothing to impress me either. It's little more than an immature fantasy of being the last man alive, because then, even if you're as ugly as Jabba the Hutt or as insufferable as Jar Jar Binks, and all the women have been educated into believing all men are evil and better off dead, everyone woman alive is still going to be throwing themselves at you.
Ha. If only.
Does Through Spacetime need to have a compelling story? Not really, no. Its primary function is to serve as fap material, and that's perfectly okay. But with that said, being fap material is par. Going above and beyond is what gets you 4 or 5 stars.

I doubt Empiric will ever read this but non the less I'll give my opinion. I would avoid the MC's face if its possible, most games it is and this one is no different. The H scenes are very short. Maybe add some content in dialog, mix in story line a bit and do it smart if you do not have much animations/scenes to play with.

There is a lot of potential I see with this project which is why I checked it out. Models/characters are great, maybe think of a way to interact with characters more or some other element would go a long way with this.

I would suspect the high stars everyone throws out so easy is purely based on the models but this is suppose to be a game. If its just about how the model looks then might as well just read some hentai.

This was legitimately my favorite VN I've played. The story was great and I look forward to seeing the ending. Lily and Noire.... best girls. Nicole was amazing too.
I played this in one sit down. It was amazingly hot. The sex was not way to oversaturated and you also don't have to wait to long between sex scenes.
The development of the group was stellar. The way the MC integrates himself actually makes sense, as opposed to most MC... lol.
Empiric deserves an award for this one... Props!!!

Don't think about the plot at all, just look at how to fuck the beauties.
No grinding, no consequences, this is true erotica.

But each sex position is too few, the scene is too short, deduct 1 star.
This is the selling point of the whole game, it shouldn't be so casual. It's better to be more passionate.

Way funnier than I expected, doesn't take itself too seriously. Plays around with the idea of, what if there were no men. For example, some of the crew really don't seem to care about the main character until his crazy pheromones kick in. Some great models. Look forward to more.

To be honest, the start was ordinary, specifically the initial few minutes but as the game progressed quality of renders, animations, humor got better significantly. Sci fi harem theme with mc being only male human somehow survived all those decades. Girls are gorgeous, scenes are pretty erotic and credit goes to the writer. Special mention of those nuns, that cult arc was perfect fit to the story and weirdly satisfying.

This game is profoundly mediocre. The models are decent at best, the sex scenes are short and stilted, and the writing/worldbuilding is just embarrassing. I genuinely couldn't even get to the end of the first episode.

The only reason I'm not giving this 1 star is because I didn't finish it and it might get better later, but the writing did not inspire confidence in that possibility.

First off, the "Last man alive" concept is already dumb and it's almost never done well in these games. Women will often act in such a way that is completely unbelievable in a world devoid of men. But this story is even worse because it's sci-fi. You're telling me that in nearly infinite planets with many, many species of intelligent humanoid life, not one of them have male lifeforms? It's a completely ridiculous premise normally, but the sci-fi setting makes it even worse.

Second, the rest of the writing is a confusing mixture of banal and lightning-fast. It somehow manages to be incredibly boring and unengaging, while also moving way too fast. You're 5 minutes into this game on a spaceship full of women who have apparently never seen men in their lives and have been taught to distrust and hate them, and you've already fucked half of them and at least made-out with another. There's no buildup. I literally turned off the game when the one girl meets you for the first time and immediately wants to kiss you because she apparently "watches old romance movies".

This begs the question: If the government is apparently an incredibly powerful and controlling organization hell-bent on making people hate men, then why would people even have access to "old romance movies"? Surely this government would have destroyed any record of men being portrayed in a positive light. This is what I mean when I say the world building makes no sense. These devs that make these dumb "last man alive" games never put even the smallest amount of thought into the implications of that premise. This game is no different. My advice to devs is this: If you're not willing to put any amount of effort and thought into making these big world-building decisions seem believable, just don't make them. This game could have been just a generic sci-fi setting and it would have been like 50% better.

Maybe if you can force yourself through the incredibly bad opening scenes of this game, it will turn into something decent. But the writing was so bad and the models/sex scenes were so mediocre that it just wasn't worth the mental effort when there are so many other good games on this site to play instead. This game is not worth your time or the space on your hard drive.

Through Spacetime is a harem game and power fantasy in a science-fiction setting, where the mc get’s all the attention and lots of sex by an awesome and diverse cast of girls. Simple, but still fun.

The fantasy setting is somewhat reasonable (for an adult VN) and features some plot twists and decisions to be made about the course of the main story. Just don't expect the next Dune, Blade Runner or Star Wars. Dialogues are fun and remind me of the good old days, where in movies the male protagonist, was a charming hero and not some woke pussy full of self-loath and guilt complexes.

The graphics are up-to-date and the game also features some animations, which really aren’t bad. Writing and scene-play is very much enjoyable, if you like harem games, while the gameplay is straight-forward. Pregnancy happens in this game, which is another (big) plus in my book.

One of the few points of criticism I have are the alien girls, which I really don’t find hot. Admittedly that’s purely personal and may not be an issue for many. I'm aware, that a sci-fi game is supposed to feature some extraterrestrials, too. It's just not my thing, although I do like sci-fi in general. One of them is almost ridiculous, the one with the wolf ears and the tail, while the rest of her body is perfectly human. Maybe she was designed to please the furry lovers (not my cup of tea), but at the same time not alienating the ones with a more common taste too much.
But let’s be fair, it’s hard to imagine another humanoid alien species… turns out they just look like us, but with a red or violet skin colour and fancy eye colours. LOL. But it's actually what Daz3d offers us as alien.
In this game it’s explained during the plot, why most aliens are humanoid, but I’m not interested in alien sex in general. Anyway it’s only a minor part of the game, except for violet skinned Andromeda. Still the rest of the cast makes up for this unpleasantry.
The human girls of the diverse cast are awesome and there are plenty to please everyone’s tastes. (My favourites were Capt’n Morgan and Nicole, although Nicole should have more of a personality and not just act like a mindless fuck doll, nevertheless a very beautiful one.) So some characters lack unique personalities, which would be my next point of criticism. I hope, that characters will get more some more personality in the future.

Since the game isn’t finished, yet, I’m anticipating further updates and hopefully some improvements concerning fleshing out characters.

All in all this VN earned a clear 4 star rating for me, despite minor points of criticism.

Very solid game so far:

• Great rendering and attractive models.
• Good diversity of girls, will likely see one that you like.
• Solid setting and plot so far, both an easy to accept excuse for a harem setting and a super cool lore background that I'm interested to learn more about.
• Animations are decent, and for scenes without there seems to be a multiple angled viewing windows on the screen at the same time.
• Very quick to get to sexual content, but sounds like for some crew members you need to get to know them and warm up to them. Sounds like a good balance of teasing and payoff.
• Music is very soothing, adds to the serenity of space vibe that some sci fi games go for.

Definitely worth a download and trying out.

The story is actually pretty interesting for a very lewd game, maybe it's just because I dig the space atmosphere, although I never personally watched Star Trek and I only know of it because of popular culture.

But I think I'd dig the show if I gave it a chance, not much of a TV show guy, but back to the review, yeah great game. Tits, great game...ugh I mean tits...no great game.

What is it that is not worth applauding with this game the amount of sex scenes as well as the plot is amazing. Hell I felt like I blinked and there was another sex scene. My favorite characters are the red and purple skinned aliens look amazing. I'm super glad I played this and you will all love this game bravo dev bravo!

Good story. Nice models. Some surprises on the way. Basically an illustrated novel, but I don't mind. Also nice to get an updated view on spacetime instead of the usual 1950 scientific fantasy scenario of limitless time-travel, warp-drives. Here is an author who believes time does not exist at all - Yeah!

This is probably my favorite Sci Fi VN on here now. Why?

There's a good few hours worth of playtime, the girls are hot as fuck - my faves are Noir, Morgan, Nicole, TONS of lewd scenes, the dialogue is funny as fuck and the story is pretty cool, in a cheesy, camp fashion.

I am really looking forward to new updates. The dev is doing a great job on this one. Five stars.

I'm writing this review after playing Episode 8. Here's what I liked and did not like so far.

+ THE SETTING:
A very well done Sci-Fi porn game. We don't have many of them and out of the few we have this is one of the best.
+ THE SEX SCENES:
The best thing about the game. Fappability - 5/5 Just play with one hand. There's an abundance of it.
+ CHARACTERS:
This game has some of the most beautiful and sexy female characters of any game. There's a girl for everyone.
+ VISUALS:
The Ship's interior, the city and the outside world all look great.

+/- MC:
Likeable meathead.
+/-THE STORY & WRITING:
The story is not the best but its interesting enough to keep you engaged.

VERDICT:
Having said all of that. With a bit of work this could be a top tier game.

This visual novel is a great collection of milf-licious erotica. The character models are great, the sex scenes are well written out and there is enough of an overarching plot with sufficient world building to divide the sex scenes, keeping the novel from becoming repetitive.

Episode 8 ends on a bit of a twist, so I hope to see more in depth character building and plot development with the cast of girls available. I would also like a bit more fetishes included, as most sex scenes up til now have been a bit vanilla. However, still excited for the future and recommend to anyone looking for a lighthearted read.

I downloaded this game after reading all of the glowing reviews, and I have to say I don't get why it is rated so high.

I am a sucker for sci-fi games, and there are a handful of truly excellent ones in this genre. This game, however, just misses the mark for me.

I like the premise of the game, and the renders look quite good for the most part. However, unfortunately, that's pretty much where the positives end.

First, as many have pointed out, the game lacks animations. This is definitely not a deal-breaker for me, as there are good games that have little or no animation, but it would absolutely be a huge improvement to add some decent animations.

Next, the characters all seem painfully one-dimensional. Admittedly, I threw in the towel after a little more than an hour of gameplay, but I didn't find a single of the characters interesting or compelling. It was difficult to tell a few of them apart early on, as they had no apparent distinguishing personalities or depth.

The writing and dialogue are mediocre at best. Aside from numerous spelling and grammatical errors, many of the conversations between characters are extremely awkward and don't feel realistic or natural. Many of the sex scenes have little or no build up. MC basically jumps from meeting some of the girls to immediately having sex with them. The story is completely lacking throughout.

If you're just looking for a game with sexy girls and lots of sex scenes, shoehorned into a sci-fi setting, this is definitely worth playing. If you prefer a little more depth to your games' story and characters, this may leave you feeling disappointed.

This is a good well written story. There are plenty of scenes already in this game and characters are well thought and disctinct enough.

The story at this point feels close to be reaching a climax so i would say waiting for another update or 2 would be better if you dont enjoy clifhangers, for myself i just come back to it like i have been doing to one piece whenever i see a new episode popup because i have really been enjoying its development.

Overall i think its worth giving this a chance.

Great, lots of erotic content, and lots of different fetishes... Would like some hardcore domination aspects for the MC and allow him to rape the evil characters + forceful impregnation on the evil chars. Other than those fetishes everything else is great. Interesting thought on the hormones since women in this timeline aren't used to men, but if you wanted it to work scientifically, it would probably take multiple millennia minimum to affect this kind of change, so next time have him timelocked for like 5-6000 years, to allow at least some semblance of genetic drift to happen that allows the hormone change, as the time without men isn't enough to change the population that drastically, especially if they are using semen to reproduce that is from original men and not artificial cloned chromosomes etc.
