Overview:
King Lovell's grip on the throne is growing weaker every passing day. Rebellion looms around the corner while trade talks are breaking down and an enigmatic new race has just been discovered. Yet, that's not all on King Lovell's mind, as rumours of a spice weaver have started bubbling...
You play as the right-hand man to the infamous Spice Pirate, who has just been crowned a Lord through marriage. Having finally found freedom and power, the Spice Pirate has his "eyes" set on an even more ambitious target... the throne.​

all kidding aside, one have to appreciate your efforts in making the game you wanna to play yourself and in answering beforehand all "hard" questions/controversy-sources (faq).

despite this game isnt for me, good luck to you with your developing venture!

considering that impregnation and prego-sex will be unavoidable (the later "skippable but still happening story-wise"), seems as your main kink is quite clear:BootyTime:

Even tho the renders look nice, sadly I don't play games where I need to have multiple playthroughs.

Looks great so far! Looking forward to playing it. I will only play through it once but will go with the the LI I like the best. I have never done multiple play through of an AVN but that is just my personal quirk. Based on visuals I would go with the redhead “elf” but I will see what they are like as written to make my final decision. Good luck!

Also this is not showing up in the new games uploads; probably due to the tag and if you want this to get noticed more it should be changed so it shows up there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe a moderator has to add the tags and add it to the latest updates page and I can't do it myself. So I'm just waiting for one of them to do it (I have already reported the OP as a game update).

Review

It's a solid first release. There's some high points and some nits.

Story is the strongest part. It introduces a world not quite familiar and it does a good job of explaining stuff without falling into exposition. The first use of a Spice Oath is a bit jarring and creates interest in what it really means, for example. Pacing was sometimes weird. Occasionally there's just four or five small pages of text with no images to get the story through a time skip. Hopefully future revisions of the story will at least put some form of artwork there.

Art is very good or very blah. The faces of the characters are excellent. The women are gorgeous, the men handsome. In close ups, a lot of energy went into making them expressive. When playing, I strongly advised laying off the space bar/left mouse button. Let it play out. On the other hand, in non-closeups, most of the figures are stiff and sometimes boring. The MC can be seen in a pose with his arms stiffly down and slightly away from his sides too often. The characters look very alive in their closeups and very wooden otherwise. Hopefully this improves in later versions.

Music is so-so. I'm not really into music in a game. But, the music fades nicely into the background. What was missing was sound effects. The characters would suddenly look in a direction and a character walk through a door. Where's the door opening sound? I don't recall any sound effects.

There are no decisions for the first maybe 100 screens of art. Decisions in the game are few, reserved for just a handful of plot important decisions. It appears you can take sides in the overall plot. Can't wait to see how that plays out in future versions.

There are no lewds. I would be surprised if ch2 had lewds, too. Dev says this above so it isn't surprising. And the game doesn't need them. It is a very story driven game. If you are looking for interactive porn, look elsewhere.

Overall, very playable, except for wanting more, as always. Solid front of the B-tier, just needs a few improvements to make the A-tier.

Alright! Pretty rare. I like it already. As long as they're not lopsided wherein there is clearly one choice that has more content and is way better than the others.

I will probably not bother with this until 2026 at the earliest to have more meat in the story before I start but here's to hoping you pull this ambitious project off. I know how pressure-heavy patreon subscribers' desires can be to story progress and how it can result in compromises.

That's where the Gallery comes in for me. Romance one girl, view the other two choices in the Gallery. Hopefully this game has one or gets modded to have one.

Yeah ,same here. I don't want to play multiple times to see 10 -20 % of different content. Multiple routes only viable when devs put out 2k-3k renders per relase where even if you stick to one route you won't feel the lack of content .

Good job to the dev on explaing the future tags though. Even though I won't play it ,this gives the clarity of what to come .

One of those games where you need at least 1 save per love interest. It will suck when the dev can't update every path at once with sizable content.
