My android port has an alternative save location, the save will remain intact when you uninstall the game so don't worry about starting over. And my port has a textbox opacity slider and text size slider and added change name to the main menu.

how is it that a new game with barely any content managed to weave a better lore and interesting ideas than half the games on this website...

Still in the middle of playing the update but damn, its fucking awesome, im really flashed!
There are really quite a few choices with deep consequences which arent easy to answer, oftentimes both choices could be reasonable depending on your viewpoint.
I LOVE the mimics/facial expressions of the characters and really liked the introduction of the crew, thats what im calling love for the detail.
I really enjoyed the jealousy-play with glade lol, from mc's side with scurve and from glade's side with violet. Jealousy being displayed is surprisingly kinda rare in avns but imo speaks for passion.

Yes. Animations will be included in all lewd scenes and all kissing scenes. At the moment, there are no plans for any other non-NSFW animations. They will be included in the game from Chapter 2 onwards (the latest release was Chapter 1.5).
You do have a good point...
In a perfect world, I would have the player able to choose which ending they wanted to "keep" for the sequels. Alas, Tides of Succession will have 10 different endings (1 solo, and then 3 different endings for each LI) and allowing players to choose their ending is much more work than it's worth.
I also want to point out that the sequels will be 'separate' AVNs. While they'll be set in the same world, and feature some of the same characters, the sequels will have a different MC, different Love Interests, different antagonists and an entirely different narrative. If you wanted, you will be able to play the sequels without playing Tides of Succession. Hence, I wouldn't necessarily look at as a dead end so to speak, but rather an end to the current story and the start of another.
That's... interesting. I have no idea why this would happen. I use very basic Ren'Py with no advanced code at all, so if your device runs other Ren'Py AVNs, it should be able to run Tides of Succession. I wish I could help you, but I'm afraid I can't. Fingers crossed you can resolve this issue.
Nice update, although when I read the dialogues from Windy and Scurve, I "heard" them in an Ocker accent ("m-a--t-e!")

. I've already fixed the issue It's always interesting to see how others interpret my writing... and there have been a few instances thus far in which I haven't emphasised a fact enough, which is poor writing on my part.

This might be related, assuming that "crash" is a misnomer there.
After choosing being generally friendly with Will, telling Kasula to keep the Queen's secret secret and telling Will everything, I get will_trust not defined error from the "if will_trust == 2" check
I suspect three chained causes for that, just skimmed the code though:
- By taking these choices, you don't get the choice whether to tell Will about the queen, so will_trust isn't set in fight_aftermath
- update1_3_variabels is never called, therefor the initializations there don't work
- You're not initializing variables using default outside labels,
