personally I don't mind if a game has it as long as it's optional and not forced on me
so I don't mind at all it's in the game for people that enjoyed it
now I'm going to talk about my personal opinion
and keep this in mind I'm only talking about myself and no one else
I will live and die with my monogamy
I absolutely love when my woman is jealous and Territorial and doesn't want to share me
not only does it make me and the relationship we are in feel special
it's a huge turn and it makes her look badass and Powerful
and also makes our intimate moment feel special and it's actually means something serious

400 renders in one week while only using a laptop? Wtf? Thats crazy fast congrats (and i think its really helpfull to get a avn going).
Congratz to the contest as well, youre imo one of the most promising devs here and im lucky that my tastes seem to align with yours. And i usually cant be assed to read devlogs but im really enjoying yours and the way youre explaining your decisions and thought process.
Regarding the throuple im the same as you, i dont need it but can very much enjoy a path with a good developed throuple (which are kinda somewhat rare in avns tho and probably in reality too).
I really dislike the throuple in our most well-known college avn for example as i think it doesnt feel natural and should not work like that but thats maybe just me.
And while i myself dont give a fuck about it, i think youre doing yourself a favor with keeping the LI's straight. I couldnt care less myself if they want to have fun with eachother too but there are apparently a lot of guys who dislike it very much when the gals play with each other (i think its mostly the harem incest crowd and i doubt youre trying to appeal to them but not alienating them can be a good side effect lol).
I would guess (!) there are more players who dont like the LI's playing with each other than the other way around even if i dont really understand why that is
So from my pov youre doing everyting right!

This is only my opinion as well, but if woman is totally ok with me fucking another woman then in my eyes she's probably not in love with me, otherwise she would have cut my balls off even for thinking about it (I am immersing into this universe

This was solid, I do enjoy a good fantasy romp. Folks do seem to nod at each other an awful lot though... I'm not saying it's bad but I don't think the comical effect it was having was intended.
I'm kinda into some of the non-LIs I think. I enjoyed Violet's jealous tiff, though maybe like her just because she's different. Candace is a looker too for sure and all that baby talk was working on me, though maybe it might just be my inclination to be contrary and want to go for gals other than who games try to push me on. Outta the clear LIs the Princess was the easiest on the eyes.
I started on glade path, because what she was saying definitely made sense, but then reloaded my save when it was clear you couldn't just be straight up and confront the old man. I don't really want to deal with any machinations and skulduggery, hopefully he's being honest and I can work towards a favourable outcome for everyone.
Only thing I didn't like was the font, not easy enough to pass. While it was simple enough to swap to dejavu sans with the accessibility settings, as the default is designed around having an inappropriately small font then there's some overlap and other issues.

Huh? I was able to confront his "dad" about it in a conversation just between the two of them, its was nice imo

I couldn't while allied with Glade because it was all about sneaking around behind his back and trying to stop him getting the throne... that's why I said I reloaded (to not align with her but instead go confront the old man), and mention that I hope he's telling the truth (about just wanting to live and not being a tyrant).

If you're with Glade, you cannot confront him.
But if you're not with Glade... you will get a few more options, and one of those options involves confronting him

Imo the change about the Spice pledge is great, didnt thought about it too much until now but i think it will be way more impactful later on like that. The MC handling it out like that indeed kinda made it feel a bit cheap.

I wouldnt advise to make this decision now and keep it like that. Imo its smart to start with more frequent updates and 2000 renders are good despite heavy branching. Less successful avns who struggle with that are usually releasing even smaller updates (like 800 renders or something) and thats why they fail.
And i think its easier to build a fanbase like that with constant updates and content.
After a while you can still change to bigger updates when the branching becomes more and more and some kind of foundation (in content and supporters) is established. Like Being a DIK (sorry for naming it lol) for example, the first episodes were smaller and were released more frequently until they got bigger and bigger.
Granted there are countless people crying about his yearly updates now but he's very successful like that and i think the way he published it plays a part.
Well i guess considering your development speed so far, 4k updates could still be often enough but yeah thats my 2 cents.

With regards to update length, I made a reddit post about it to get more thoughts, and I've made my decision:
Here's the comment that ultimately convinced me:
At this stage, I'm going to aim for a release late March with ~3,600 renders. As always, I'm going to keep everyone in the loop.
