Yeah that's rough. I just learned that now but I can't play based on what's going to be canon for potential future installments. There are a few games out there where I won't be able to play the sequels, if they ever happen, because the canon path is unappealing to me. I mean there has to be one. I don't expect devs to create sequels where there are four paths coming in, and then it breaks up into still more paths, but I'll just have to wait and see. So far none of those sequels has actually appeared.

You will be a different MC in Tides2 and then again in Tides3. There will be references to MC1 (but those references WILL take into account the girl/s you ended up with at the end of Tides1.

There is NOT a canon LI.

Glad to hear that. As I said, I don't really worry about it anyway. No offense to the dev of this one, but so few games even get finished - much less get a sequel - that playing a game based on what's going to happen in the sequel seems a bit too optimistic to me.

She's not the canon. In Tides 2 you will see MC1 with whatever LI you choose.

Fenwick yes in Tides 2 (LI will be Zelene & Brielle).

AFAIK it's still Tobias' son for Tides3, how that fits with a different mother we'll see. And there will be 4 LI including a harem of 1LI and SG if you want.

Elva will be a possible LI in Tides 3.

The original plan is to have the MC be the son of Tobias (Tides' 1 MC) and his chosen LI. However, the problem with this is the amount of branching it could cause. A potential solution to this issue is having the MC for Tides 3 to be the son of Will and Arrabella. I haven't committed to either option yet, and I'm slowly making my way through what I plan to do with it.

Unlike Tides 2, which is virtually set in stone at the moment with Zelene and Brielle being the only 2 LIs and Fenwick being the MC, Tides 3 has the potential to change a lot in terms of the cast and the type of relationships present.

That's asking a lot.

I agree on a certain level, that the kid would be part R'ol so might inherit the ears or at the very least, some R'ol like features. There's only three LIs though, so it's basically committing to "Hey, design two styles of MC based on a choice that only a percentage of players will make or even really care about."
If the kid looks the same regardless if Lorelei or Glade is the mom, then you get more backlash. Suddenly it becomes 3 MC styles needed which is basically rendering three games at that point.

I have no idea how Tak, a solo dev, will cover this but it sounds like a hell of a lot of work that only a few of us will care about. As Tak literally just responded as I was typing this , I will adjust and say I like the idea of it being Will and Arrabella's son just to limit the amount of possible work to do.

Well my Li for Tides 3 is pretty much set then. Probably would have been my Li for tides 1 if it had been possible.

Im glad best girl Lora is still pulling through and surprised that Kasula overtook glade.



Yeah man, yeez, she gets hardcore cucked not just physically but emotionally too lol. The throuple path feels VERY VERY uncomfortable to me, its my by far least liked playthrough. Lorelei seems a bit too pathetic on this path and glade a bit too obsessed lol

Even if a happy throuple somehow emerges out of this shitshow im not sure i will be happy with it as imo tobias was WAY TOO inconsiderate towards lorelei. Making out with glade next to Lorelei on Lorelei and his bed in the morning just after they did wake up while this girl is (for whatever reasons) in love with him?

Damn even most cold-hearted asshole lords usually at least have the decency to to stuff with their mistresses NOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF their wife in their marriage bed even when there is no love involved lol. Its a matter of respect too and tobias lacked any kind of respect towards lorelei imo.

I liked all three of them - glade, lorelei and tobias - a bit less for different reasons after playing this route and it motivated me to start my last playthrough, the kasula one!

Honestly i feel like it would be kinda deserved if lorelei betrays tobias at some point in this route, at least she would show some kind of self-respect like that lol

Yeah, I am a bit worried about trying throuple path because I wouldn't find it believable after playing Lorelei's solo path, she very clearly just wants an exclusive relationship and I feel anything else will feel ooc, and Glade also doesn't seem the type that would be open to share with the princess with how jealous they both seem to each other, without having tried the throuple route I will say that route looks a bit forced right now.

I will still give it a chance at some point but It will probably be the last path I play if I do.

It's not pretty. Not in the unbelievable kind of way though. It's exactly how you call it. Two women, unwilling to share, suddenly find themselves competing for the same MC who can't make his mind up. I think Tak did a good job in that there's real drama here, and they both aren't suddenly "Oh we can play nice and we both want him." Like Krytax said, I came out of that route liking everyone involved just a little less.

I think this is a bug, where when player click Glade guidance, it shows Kasula guidance instead of Glade


And on Glade Yandere path, there's this typo on the first sentence, should ke Kasula instead of Gasula
