This is correct - you must end up with at least one LI.
As Glade is the last LI you can reject, if you've already rejected the other 2, you're forced to romance Glade. I'm aware this can be a bit... weird for those who don't like Glade. But if you don't like Glade, and you've already rejected the other 2 LIs, then you probably won't like Tides of Succession because it's very much romance focused which means if you're not into any of the LIs it'll be a hard play, so to speak

Not really. I just never really saw her as a Li, or a friend, or an ally. She never had a chance with me.Oh no. Pix has added another pirate to his list.

this is the fate of pretty much any pirate LI when it comes to who pix likes ( at least for the games we both play so far)

It's funny you should mention that since the throuple path wasn't originally intended. I can't remember exactly when Tak made that change, but I do remember that the throuple path is meant to be uncomfortable in the early phases since, as you mention, both girls are highly possessive.
Unrelated to the above, I also found out why Kasula's lewd scene is so difficult to get, and it stems from a tidbit of lore she gives regarding R'ol culture (which I forgot since I pursued Lorelei in my first playthrough). Specifically, sex triggers Unity, which is a spice pledge between partners to love each other for the rest of their lives. It's quite charming knowing that if your partner is a R'ol then you are the only person they'll ever be intimate with.

Well this one did attack us and kill(ish) our friend and shipmate. I know in adult games I'm supposed to go "Yeah but she has a nice ass" and yet ... I can't quite get there. Anyway, the other game has a whole colony of pirates and in this one we're on a ship full of pirates, and so far I want to kill 2.5 ... so that's not huge.

Finally got around to playing the throuple path. I actually loved it, Glade is so possessive and upfront about what she wants whereas the Princess is more reserved and set on playing the long game. Something she is very experienced with due to politics. At no point did I get the impression that she was helpless and stuck watching on the side. Their rivalry was intense and I can't wait to see it blossom into the friendship the dev is planning. I can see why people were frustrated with the MC just letting Glade do whatever she wants but he isn't a political figure, up until a few days ago he was just a pirate and one quite smitten with Glade. I love all the LI's in this game it's soooo good.

truthfully in this game while I don't fully trust Glade she gets a 2nd chance from me because how she was under someone else's control otherwise she would be sleeping with the fishes by now.

The only value I see in her is the information she brings for the upcoming mission. Other than that, I probably wouldn't kill her, but I wouldn't want her on the crew either. After the voyage she should go her own way and try not to "accidentally" run into me or my people.

Nice take...i'm generalizing a bit, but the majority people who disliked the throuple path on this page are strict solo paths/monogamy path lovers. I cant blame them for not liking it, as they were never going to like any sort of poly relationships in the first place. Its like i hate ntr, so even after i try it, there's no way i'm going to like it and i will keep on finding issues with the path.

I left this path for last honestly because I also quite enjoyed all the monogamy paths. After reading comments on these past pages I was expecting total shit but was pleasantly surprised. What I don't understand is how there will be any sort of sexual content in this path anytime soon given that both girls have spice pledged off of it for at least 6 months while the MC decides what he feels.

This is what i was worried about, the path is getting wayy too much negativity than it deserves coz monogamy players hated it. People who are new on the thread read all the negativity and draw a bad picture of the game even before starting it.
As far as sexual content, dont worry i'm sure that pledge wont last lol

I'm typically a monogamy player - if I do a throuple or harem thing I at the very least need to like everyone involved so I didn't even try this one. Lorelai to me is the poor little rich girl, who ... meh, maybe she'd be ok if there wasn't competition. Glade was an enemy soldier (sailor) who started trying to scheme and conspire while she was still a prisoner - minutes after being released from whatever spell she was under so no way I trust her as far as I can throw her. Kasula walked away from her people and the relative safety of her lands to explore all on her own, and is pretty, smart and fearless. No one else really stood a chance. I haven't played the update yet but I don't think 6 months will be long at all for this game. Considering it's a pirate game 1 trip on their ship can easily take 6 months

Yeah the six month thing will pass by quickly imo too. Can't really see Glade and Lorelei breaking their spice mcguffin. Their spice pledge to each other was the most loose interpretation of it yet. "I, Jadepaladin, swear to buy everything on the shopping list I burned in a fire three weeks ago without skipping a single item and paying double for the meat."
It's like spice is some kind of omniscience ready to go and render judgement on whatever the plot needs. Glade and Lorelei had to specifically indicate not doing physical harm to each other because they know they are doing emotional damage to each other at this stage in the throuple. Tobias has too but I guess that doesn't break his spice pledge not to harm Lorelei.

I feel like, in any kind of real world setting, the spice thing would be a disaster. Everyone would want spice pledges for everything all the time - a spice pledge from the grocer that all of your produce is fresh - a spice pledge to your parents that you'd do your homework - girlfriends in high school demanding a lifetime spice pledge - and everyone would be dead by 20.

Exactly. This is a fantasy of course but spice pledges would never work irl.
Whoops, Glade accidentally bumped into Lorelei and hurt her back. Was it intentional? Was it an accident? It's up to spice.
When they go on their voyage, what happens in a situation where one of them needs to be cut out or stripped of their clothes in front of Tobias? Does it break the pledge? Or does it get a pass for being plot inconvenient?

Maybe I missed it but what are the repercussions of breaking a spice pledge. Glade loses her spice and says she'll age as normal. She's been around for quite some time though that's more because of Lokhart pumping in super spice into the crew making them immortal. But everyone else apparently lives regular lives and yet are still able to spice pledge. So if Glade loses her spice and her life is unaffected then what exactly happens to someone who breaks a spice pledge since we already know spice leaving the body doesn't kill you anyways.

Glade lost Lokhart's spice which means she's on her own spice now. Breaking a spice pledge seems to be lethal for whoever is involved. Kasula talks about it a bit with the Unity conversation, how if their partners don't love each other or cheat they die, but it's rare since R'ol tend to know they are in love. Not sure how it works with Lokhart and other spice weavers though.
It's why Lorelei made a big deal about it when Tobias pledged to protect her to get her to go on the dingy at the start of the story.
