Before I say my piece, I want to state that I really enjoyed playing this game. I do love games where 'good' girls eventually surrender to their slutty nature, and the Tifa side of the story is spot-on and her sex scenes are really hot. Plus I love girls with big tits and asses, so I can't fault her side of the story, apart from one small thing.
I'll start with Tifa then. I know they don't have much spare cash, but honestly one outfit throughout the entire game? I mean she's a hot girl, who's discovering her sexuality, and yet she seems quite happy to wear the same boring outfit she started the game in. Even poor people have more than one outfit, so that grates a bit after a while. Come on, we want to see Tifa wearing hot, sexy outfits that show off her stupendous assets to maximum effect. And if she can afford to close her Bar for entire days, she's clearly not worrying as much about money anymore. That's a minor gripe, but Cloud ,well that''s another matter.
Next, I have to state this should be tagged as a kinetic game. Because so far, there is only one real choice in the game. Whether you want Cloud to be a cuck, or remain oblivious. All the other choices are simply whether you want to see Tifa's point of view, which doesn't affect the narrative in any way, because those events happen regardless, you just don't see them. For it not to be a kinetic game, choices have to affect the narrative, and one in a game, is not enough really to qualify. And not including that info in the tags, can give the wrong impression of what to expect. I generally don't like kinetic games, so this is pretty much an exception for me.
Now to Cloud, where do I begin. Firstly, he's the MOST gullible character, I've ever encountered in an NTR game, and that is really saying something (I've played well over a hundred of these games). He takes gullibility to a new level of idiocy. The guy is so desperate, not to believe the evidence of his own eyes, that he'll believe any old tosh, that his girlfriend invents on the spur of the moment, to cover up her indiscretions, that even a pre-adolescent school kid could work out was completely false. The guy is a complete joke to such an extent, that it's hard to feel any sympathy for him. He's portrayed as a caring, sensitive guy, but he's appear to lack any real insight into his girlfriend's true nature. Which begs the question, is he really caring and sensitive?
And then his appearance. Well it's clear he's been inspired by 'Cloud' out of Final Fantasy, who was actually quite a kick ass character, which unfortunately our Cloud isn't. My first impression on seeing him and Tifa together, was that he looked like her little brother, and an effeminate teenage one at that. Which begs the question, why was Tifa ever attracted to him in the first place? The narrative clearly shows, that she's sexually attracted to strong, powerful, dominant, masculine men, with very big cocks, none of which describes Cloud at all. I mean, he's the polar opposite of that. Tifa herself is a smokeshow, who's obviously quite outgoing, because she's chosen to open a Bar, which involves interracting and even flirting with a lot of people, as part of the job description, so there's no way she wouldn't be able to get a guy like that, if she wanted to. So why would she choose someone like Cloud? This is never explained. And they don't have that much in common either. Because most of the time, Cloud doesn't really want to do the things Tifa likes, so they don't even have common interests going for them either. Why are Cloud and Tifa together really? That's never explained. They say they love each other, but why? It's very clear that Tifa is not sexually attracted to Cloud, he just isn't her type. So what really caused her to fall for him, and choose him over all the other options, which a girl like her would never be short of?
For me, he's the major weakness of this game. Because I just don't believe that they'd ever get past the first few dates. Without some additional evidence, to say why Tifa would be prepared to settle for someone like Cloud, when she's clearly out of his league, their relationship doesn't make a lot of sense to me. She's obviously not a shy girl, because shy girls don't run bars. So why would she be drawn to him in the first place, when it's very clear she would have been hit on constantly, by the kind of men, she's very obviously more attracted to?
But once again, these reservations apart, I did enjoy this game immensely, which I didn't really expect, once I realised it was mainly kinetic. And I look forward to future updates.
