Dev Update - March 22nd

Hey everyone!

We finally have a release window — the Chapter 01 refresh will be out mid to late May. I know it’s significantly later than expected, but things did not go at all like I thought they would. The refresh will be a free update available to everyone. Apologies, I did not realize that I was burnt out from work until doing simple modeling took me way longer than normal. I’m still working on finding a work-life balance, but I feel like things are better.

Also, I got a little stuck in the experience that comes with working on a game that’s been delayed. It feels like you need to add more things to the release, but really all that does is add more delays. I’ve been trying to stick to the scope and plan to get this release out so we can finally get to Chapter 04.

The biggest thing I’ve been trying to accomplish with the refresh is to exponentially increase the lewd content in Chapter 01. Here are some previews of what’s to come. Hope you enjoy it, and I’m looking forward to this update being done and released.

Well, or changed their mind. I'm not saying it's not a broken promise, but I'm not sure that's evidence of an outright lie (intentional deception).

They made no post after that, it's nothing but wallpapers, no mention of delays, nothing...and like I said they still have the placeholder spots and still expect payment.

there are many who earn their living from wallpapers and not 1st nor last time dev switched from game dev to art making.

edit: it took me a while once to get game tagged as abandoned even dev hadn't done anything besides wallpapers for months.

Always hate to see the dreaded Chapter 1 rework on a game that was going so well...cough cough "The Awakening"....makes me wonder sometimes if the dev ran out of steam on the story and is trying for time or if they really feel reworking chap 1 after getting to 4 was the best idea. Hopefully this one comes back around, was a fun story.

It's a shame, apparently we never have the continuation of the story, the dev having gone on a remake which will never be released either and now we only have wallpapers. Another interesting game in the graveyard of abandoned games

This game was never realistic. If that's what you thought they were going for, you haven't been paying attention to the plot or many different scenes in the game — even in the early part.

It actually is, and has a lot of good scenes. Just sucks the dev decides to start scamming and posting nothing but wallpapers.
