################# New Public Version 0.38.00 #################

This is my babbling when it got released:
Hello!
In this release, we venture into the Story of Jessie. Help her get what she wants with Jody. Also, some sneak peek of other stuff happening on Saturday Night.
One new outfit for Jessie, one new outfit for Jody, and 1 Fun Point.
I'm putting the side images of the characters (the head when they talk), this took me a lot more than expected and I still didn't finish the cutscenes (only Day 1 and Day 2), so It's a work in progress.
Check the changelog for other minor changes.

All saves games from version 0.06.xx or higher are compatible, but I have to add a Reset at the end of the load to avoid possible inconsistencies.

And this is the Full Change Log:
Change-Log 0.38.00:
  • Continue Story of Jessie
  • Continue Story of Jody
  • Sneak peek for the other Saturday Night Event.
  • +1 new outfit for Jessie
  • +1 new outfit for Jody
  • +1 Fun Points
  • New memories for Day5, Day6, Jessie, Jody.
  • Side images for (almost) all characters
  • Side images in the cut scenes for day 1 and day 2.
  • Added Hannah's car scene of Day 1 to the Gallery.
  • The fifth level from Hell dialog with CAS is fire automatically on New Games.
  • The Shower scene with Alice will happen automatically the first time instead of depending on the MC's lust.
  • The shower scene with Layla will happen automatically the first time instead of depending on the MC's lust.
  • Fix sprites for Hannah. CAS, Georgia, Janice.
  • Fixed Georgia Hint at the Fair.
  • Grammar corrections. (Thanks to DorcasAurelia)
Cheers!

Not played this in a long time how is it content wise now? And how much incest is in this? Also has the game gotten any better in regards to knowing what to do?

There's quite a bit of content. However, as intended from the beginning, you must replay some areas over several times to get everything from them and/or to unlock memories that will help progress other areas. Some people dislike this as 'a grind'. You've been warned. :D

HH has implemented a hint system with CAS. Some hints are more intuitive than others. However, Kamelkido has an excellent walkthrough linked into the OP. Edit: Kamelkido has a 0.35 walkthrough linked within the thread, not in the OP, and apparently not one more recent (I thought there was). There's another fan walkthrough linked into the OP by Thermophob that takes you to 0.37

Incest? Very little at this point.

I loved this game. The renders were great. The story was well thought out and the personalities of the characters was really well done also, but I couldn't play it without a walkthrough and even then if I missed 1 thing on the walkthrough or it had a small mistake then the whole game was blown. I even printed out the walkthrough once and it was 37 pages long LOL. Once this game is done I'll try it again then.

Low key, fuck the mom (not literally). She talks about the MC being like a degenerate or a piece of shit while she'e doing what she's doing with her abusing her power as a boss and abusing her power as a mom over her daughters. What a mega bitch, I want the MC to tell her off.

Doesn't she only do that while infected with the parasite?

I'm rather impressed by the web of connections in this game. However, the hint system is rather disappointing considering how difficult it is to figure out some of the paths. How would you know that Dana getting hit by a car is way allows you to grope Janice in the closet? I do seem to remember a throwaway line about her changing interest in people, but that one felt a little too obtuse.

Navigation is also a major issue with the game, but luckily that one was easy to improve. I don't know if it's of interest to anyone, but I modified the screen for the top bar using Unren.
Basically I bound the icons to the keys 1-0 (should be easy to figure out) and made it possible to close windows by pressing backspace. With it, it should be fairly easy to zip around in the game and reduce some of the tedium.

I'll take a look and maybe I'll incorporate into the game.

Cheers!

Hey HydraHenker have you given any more thought to protest events? I know you're trying to finish an entire game about time-looping but for me, I'm more invested in fun opportunities that have yet to happen. Messing with the girl while she's mid-speech in a public forum is a big fantasy for me in this game. Also, so many other little things as well!

But I understand: you have a big game to finish. Please consider re-visiting these old events though when you have the chance. Thanks.

It's just a line of code next to the image buttons. Very non intrusive.

Also, I tried a fresh start to see what got to me about the hint system, because it's a dynamic system that is rather impressive.
I think that it's not immediately obvious which state that the girls are in, which spoils the experience.

What got me stuck this time around was Dana in the hospital. I never saw Dana get hit, so I never saw the ambulance picking her up. The hint spoke where she would be after the accident, which I took as visiting the hospital.
However, once I started exhausting the ??? I realized my mistake.

So whilst "didn't save Dana" is technically correct, something along the lines of "left Dana to her fate" and "let Dana get injured" might be more descriptive.

My real issue with the game seem to be the UI rather than the gameplay. I know it's a difficult task, figuring out how best to present the information. Cas does come with some good lines which points to the characters changing states based on the situation, I just feel that they need to be highlighted a bit more.

It's a good game, it just has a lot of signs of being updated multiple times.

Hi, last year I opened up old events so people could submit things the MC could do. These things would be in the form of FUN Points and would end in a reset so I don't have to deal with all the ripple effect. (The drug everyone FUN POINT after the demo was one of the submission)
So re-visiting is not out of the table. Right now I'm focusing on filling up everything until Day 6.

Cheers!

There are several things I added later because the people keep telling me that the game was too difficult (still telling me today)
So I added:
1. the in-game hint: Which is huge and requires some changes over time so the hints make more sense to everyone.
2. highlit events and girls position on the map
3. Autohint system: when you talk to CAS she will point which event you should focus next
4. Tracking parasite system: This one was in the beginning with a Q&A between the MC and CAS (It's still the dead code in there) and then I simplify it by Tolerance / girls
5. See past events that said how to get there. (this is still there but it's not updated and I'll remove it soon)

So there are several tools but the game gives so many options and freedom that the question: 'What the fuck I'm supposed to do?' pops up often.

So any suggestion to improve how to give the info that you need is appreciated.

Cheers!

I believe that the difficulty stems from the game being clunky to navigate. As I said, the concept and the connected events are very good, but I felt like I had to add hotkeys to the game before I liked the feel of it.

At one point I forgot to research stuff at the computer, the reason likely being that I have to go to the university, then inside, then to the library and then to the computer before it tells me that I have something new to do.
These extra menu's, which the player rarely goes to without a reason, means that they will feel stuck if they forget what to do.

You're already using an icon to indicate if an action is new, so adding a higher level icon to show me that there's something new if I go inside the university would be an idea.

Things get more difficult for improving discoveries. The hint system is good, but it's a bit of information overload when using it, in terms of which hint to select.

If I was to design this game, I would have a tree as a map of all the options in the game. Each node would have at least a string and a bool value. The string describing the event and the bool value to indicate if the node has been visited. Maybe also a value to indicate when the player visited them first, to ensure that there is a sorted order for them.

I would then have a quick list for the player to see, which contains all the nodes with unvisited children. Preferably the player should be able to open the list and scroll back and see which previous nodes let to it, but with splitting and merging paths this might be a bit tricky.
With a tree available there should also be a list of nodes without children, just in case players want to visit them again.

Well, this is all very easy to describe but difficult to do.
Again, your game as a very nice web of consequences and dynamic hint system for support. However, I would be surprised if a player can get through the game without using it.

A quick improvement would be having CAS give the player one hint after a full reset, something that they can do in this cycle of events. It might serve as a good reminder for players to do something new this cycle.

Game design is about making the player feel smart and requesting to get hints goes against that. However, it's in Cas' best interest that the player solves the mystery, so it wouldn't be odd if she chimes in every time you do a full reset. Maybe only when you do a full reset without unlocking anything new.

That reminds me. All the hints that you have to wait for another day doesn't really do anything. Chances are that there's something before that which prevents you from getting there.
