No, timelines are not "must have"... you can play the game without making any. What they are is shortcuts that could make the game easier depending on when you make them.

At the top right there is a picture of CAS (the alien in your head) click on it, then click "I have a few questions." in there you'll find a tutorial on the mechanics of the game.

force a change of leadership -> Why don't you force a change of leadership at the Red Herring by getting Janice arrested permanently?
Tight position with a girl. -> You're in a tight position hiding with Janice? If she's horny enough things will develop by themselves without the need to push them.

We advance the main story to unravel the Day 6 wall. And we also start to fill the under construction labels
So here comes the missing way to get past Claire (with an Achievement), a new secondary character, a new outfit for the Terminator, and a new outfit for Ayumi.
I'm also completing the dream sequence for each girl, this time: Zarina and Cynthia.
All saves games from version 0.06.xx or higher are compatible, but I have to add a Reset at the end of the load to avoid possible inconsistencies.
And this is the Full Change-Log

Just wondering... why the rush to wrap up? Then what?? Just saying...
Saves won't help you because they don't unlock Gallery so you'd still need to trigger those scenes in-game... and if you're that much behind, then just start from begining and unlock everything as you go along. It will be far more simpler and easier solution then trying to unlock those scenes when you have all the memories and fun points already unlocked due to using someone elses save (meaning that in-game hints would be unavailable).
Contrary to what many people here are saying, the game is not that hard to figure out... but for that you need to actually read the text in order to know what is going on. You can also wait for WT for version 53.x to be posted and then follow that in order to streamline your gameplay, but even then you should still read the text because otherwise you'll be back here once version 54.x is released.
