The walkthrough linked on the front page is the walkthrough I used. If that's obsolete, so be it (but it doesn't state that in the walkthrough, and that's the walkthrough my original post was about). Don't say there aren't inconsistencies in that walkthrough when there are, granted, very very few, but there were enough to where I had to start saving a lot more frequently to avoid having to reload an autosave that happened way too long ago (as I stated). I'd play through the game again using the walkthrough to pinpoint exactly where those inconsistencies are, but there are dozens of other games I would much rather put my time into that I haven't touched yet.

Again, the version of the game WT is made for is 62.x (which is stated in file name: TLH_WT_62_xx_by_HydraHenker) and current game version available on this site is 78.10. In those 16 versions of the game that came after the one WT is made for there were many changes to how things went that the WT is practically useless for use with version 78.10.

But if you track down version 62.xx you could use that WT without any issue!

Dear HydraHenker, even this version doesn't start... and since last time I even changed pc and installed a new clean SO (Windows 11 25h2) and yet again the same error on the library "lib\windows-x86_64\libpython2.7.dll" ... It's a shame, it was a good game, maybe if you upgrade to a more updated version of Renpy in the future I'll be able to play it again

That's a weird error, it comes from the renpy framework itself (python 2.7)
I might release the 1.0 version on a newer renpy framework (version 8 of renpy uses python 3.xx). But oly if the games keeps working.
I've only updated the renpy version once in the lifetime of the game, and you could not load a saved file after that.
Had to ask for help from a lot of people. And most of them just say: Don't do that

I played this game a few years back and was impressed by the narrative complexity (and that alone, to be honest) and would totally be up for replaying it, but can some more dedicated followers tell me if this is anywhere near completion? I fear that it might have gone down the GRRM path of increasingly adding more characters and storylines with no idea at all of how to resolve them.

hmm not sure if it's the compressed version causing it to skip events, or a bug in the current public (at least i assume 78.10 is current), but my current run hasn't given me the option to find the janitor day 1 morning after seeing her visit the teacher's office, nor did it introduce "the terminator" and the other two veritas members, but it gave me the "punched in the face by her" event during the demonstration (thought i needed to have stolen the file from the storage room to trigger that?)

Did you see the janitor stealing clothes in the shower? And being punched in the face jn demonstration isn't connected with stealing the document.

hasn't given me the option to find the janitor and steal her keys so i can give them back on day 2 to discover the shower peeping spot, (which now that i think about it, needs me to see the varitas members during the day first so janice can break into the storage room and tell me about the keys), but janice didn't introduce the characters to my recollection at the meeting during the night before so i'm not spotting them during day 2... here's my current janice Day 1 Nighttime memories, i'm pretty sure one of the ??? is supposed to be introducing the veritas team like "the terminator"?:


edit: i downloaded the uncompressed version and started over to see if it'd repeat the bug, but it added the janitor to my roster when i first saw her in d1 afternoon at the office (it didn't in the compressed save), and introduced the veritas group with janice, so it was something caused by the compression i think (though strangely when i tried to load a new game with the compressed version to see if i could replicate the bug it didn't reoccur)

You could search for the janitor only when Janice will tell you about her having the keys. It happens when Janice is breaking into the storage room. And for you to see Vren and Penny in the university you need to learn about them from Janice on previous day, but I don't remember which route. Probably her saving Dana route.

ah that's what i had been forgetting in that previous save, it was only the saves dana route, i had simply misremembered it as part of all versions of the rally meeting.
