I stopped following this thread when the game got the abandoned tag so I am sorry if this has already been explained here. But is this the last update for the game?

I believe this is end of Lost love.

If we get a Part 3, I HOPE AND PRAY That is Ren'py like Motkeys Other New game.

This is the end, their Patreon no longer even shows this game as it has completely transitioned over to Alternate Worlds.

If you have a crash at start you need the Steam Fix. Replace the steam_api64.dll with the one in Timestamps Lost Love_Data/Plugins/x86_64. It is the same thing you had to do with the first game with the fix. As others have said there is a bug in the library so there will be a bugfix eventually, so you might wait, or you can give it a try and see what's up

Damn I feel like I am missing a lot of information, can someone give me the TLDR version of what happened, why the game went without an update for so long and why they decided to end it now, iirc there was supposed to be a part 3 for the story.

A patch to fix the crash problem, but you will still stuck in the library cause you may need a new save.

Damn I feel like I am missing a lot of information, can someone give me the TLDR version of what happened, why the game went without an update for so long and why they decided to end it now, iirc there was supposed to be a part 3 for the story.

Because there were 2 people working on the game and one person wasn't around to work on it forever, and came back to help finilsh the last part of the game.

Steam just updated to, so should be the bugfix. Will update here in a bit.

There was a critical problem with getting stuck in the game when in the library, this has now been corrected but you have to replay the scene before in Dean's Office.
