Yeah just save the game just before the scene and go back to main menu to change the language. Then load it up and and switch back after the scene.

For anyone having issues, READ THIS POST
1. If you downloaded the Unrated_English patch over 30 minutes ago, it is bugged, you need to get the "fixed" version which was recently updated.
2. If the game crashes on start, you need the Steam Fix.
3. Old saves DO NOT WORK
4. If you get a VC++ error you need to install all versions.

, use it to install them ALL, also make sure you select the correct architectures, as in x64 or x32. If you have the Steam client installed, most likely 2 and 4 won't affect you.

You will need a program to unpack the assets, such as Asset Ripper or the like.
All files are in one bundle: video_assets_all_12fb3ae2514987f94add472e8c6d68ed.bundle
Has anyone found a workaround for those semi-stuck moments during dialogues involving animations? I don't fully get stuck, but it's a mildly annoying pause where the only interaction working is pressing ESC key which opens up the menu, but doesn't do anything for the issue itself.
Something that seems to "work" is clicking to move the dialogue along, even if you don't see the following lines cause it's stuck, after 5-8 times, the dialogue continues. If you want to read what you missed since the clicking moves the dialogue along during the "stuck phase", then right click/backtrack, but keep in mind that you could end up backtracking enough to reach the "stuck" dialogue and forced to repeat all over again.
Annoying, not a deal breaker since I'm repeating from the beginning and I sort of remember what happened, but since I found a save from someone else just before this update, I realized after loading it that I don't understand or remember how we reached that scene.
Anyways, if anybody got a proper solution for this issue besides the clicking/manually skipping the dialogue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there mate, sorry to interject about this, um,
I was wondering what the "Parental Lock" is for? I completely forgot what this is and how it works or how to tweak it. Coz I can't even recall if I encountered something about this during my first playthrough ages ago.

Parental lock is just like how it sounds; it is for if you have kids or maybe someone in your house you don't want to access the game and they open the game you can set a password, which means you would need to enter a password to play/start the game.
To access the r12 images > in the Storage.vngine file, just rename to zip. It's password protected and the password is this youtube URL:
I'm actually a little surprised a password protected zip file is allowed on steam, I'd assume their security scans the actual file headers and doesn't care that it's not actually ending in zip, since someone could put anything inside of the file and steam can't check it

I'd have to imagine Steam does more than just scan it nowadays especially after all the targeted malware attacks, they have in the last few months.

downloaded and ran all the c++ versions rebooted and still get the white screen. never had an issue before playing "time stamps or alternate worlds" just this one

I just tested it again and it's working, make sureit's the storage.vngine file, add .zip to the end, and cut and paste that URL exactly as it is with no trailing or leading spacing
