This one is your log file. You need to delete your "game.settings" file which is either stored in APPDATA/local or in APPDATA/Locallow.

Mac users are a significantly smaller userbase than Windows users. They are literally a secondary consideration.

I wasn't aware of that, well it's annoying, always so exciting with updates, and it always takes 1-2 weeks of waiting before we MAC users can join in on the fun

Deleting game.settings is for reseting the parental protection password. And it works - no idea what kind of a problem you have.
