His Patreon still shows he's working on it, so I think something will come out, just don't know how long it'll take.

The project is still underway on Discord. Progress and features of the game are being uploaded. Version 1.4 is already available. You can have it by being on Discord or on Patreon, it is completely free and it will also be uploaded on this platform but it will not be until the weekend or these days.
