I really hope that is the case... he is but a new dev after all if he did at least have one game almost finished I won't say anything but after so many sloniques and company I can't help but wonder. This is a side project made by one of the team members while they have no work to do on on their main game if I recall, they wouldn't compromise Last Call's production to produce a side project. At least that's what I heard one of their supporter's say about this project
Continuing on this. If theres an error or missin one. Report it and comment what to add or remove depending on what can actually be seen in the current version of the gamePosting a note before someone bitches about tags....they aren't even close to accurate and the dev doesn't set them. FYI
There is no incest tag now.Kinda curious about this one. It has the Incest Tag, but I thought you were a Minister not the king.
No can't play it yet, until someone like the66 makes an android port. The game looks good though....I can buy P30 for 1 euro if I sign contract for two two years, without paying anything extra. It doesn't mean market price of P30 is one euro.
Anyway, lets speak about the game. Did you play it? I like setting, I like the girls...
Absolutely ZERO assets were reused or even modified from Last Call. All new models. That is almost as dry a description as the blurb on the back of an econ textbook, but it's by the same dev as Last Call so I am willing to give it ago.
So I just finished clicking through it and I have to be honest it is a pretty dry first installment. None of the promised gameplay is in this "demo", it is just a bunch of characters talking. It would have been better if it was broken up a bit with questions we got to ask, some dialogue we could choose, some title pages for "2 years later" "Later that Evening" or whatever.
The reuse of assets from Last Call is distracting. How old is everyone supposed to be in this game? The MC must be in his late 40's or 50's as he has served the throne for 30 years, King Max looks older, Queen Kelly Jo looks younger, and Princess Morgan is incredibly young but looks to be in her 20's.
There are only two decisions in this entire first release: 1) your name at the beginning and 2) whether to bed the lady at the end.
The MC needs a better outfit for escorting the princess to her party. The world needs more world building, so that we feel like we are really living within the setting. I admit I am not a "medieval" setting fan and nothing in this first release has convinced me that this will change my mind. I'm frankly disappointed because I really like Last Call and was hoping for something similar in caliber.
Really? Cuz looking at the King, Queen, and youngest princess they look very much like Max, Kelly Jo, and Morgan. I guess they are just really similar.Absolutely ZERO assets were reused or even modified from Last Call. All new models.
Shhhhh.....don't ruin his narrative. LOLAbsolutely ZERO assets were reused or even modified from Last Call. All new models.
As to your spoilers I believe he was a young man playing with the child that the princess was, not that they were the same or similar ages. I was confused about the king, it seemed at one point they said he'd only been king for 6 years? But the MC has served for 30 and also was serving the King for a long time? I guess I want to know the succession, genealogy, and timelines?Only taking into context this game and what is there currently. A lot of world building went into it for a first release. Decent amount of character introductions and plot themes. All in all I read every last bit of dialogue and watched how certain characters talked to each other and the dialogue flowed well and seemed like proper conversations. Some phrases used and structure felt off or out of place for the setting. But hey, not everything is going to be spot on and a lot was spot on for me at least for a first release.
Some story points confused meYou don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I have no idea how this game will develop or roll out from this point. But so far I can't really say it was bad. The opposite actually, quite enjoyable and the characters seemed to have their own style and felt like they were individuals in this world.
I too hope it works out. Last call isnt terrible at all. However don't forget the inevitable poll which the dev asks their patrons which game should be updated first leaving the other to collect dust, which always leads to more complaints. It also means both games barely get developed which leads to people complaining about long udpate times which leads to people puling their support which means games get abandoned.
Dev has 2 updates on his first game so hardly has a proven record he can keep up with timely updates and now throwing another game in.....
Seen enough games and devs go down the shitter when they try and pull double duty to know it ends badly far more often than it works out.
In fact i've only ever seen it work once and that because sais dev has a pretty big team.
Another big team has a lot of games on the go and their writer recently took ill and all their games have come to a halt.
Hopefully it works out for the dev, i've got my doubts.
