braindrop is a notorious Dev,who did "status update" posts for ~3 years without a single content update...
there are a few more devs like that but he's the one that comes to mind for me for that kinda thing.
I don't even have to read ITRoy's update to know what it'll entail. "Work is going really well I've optimised (X random meaningless lighting tool) and worked in an entire new gaming mechanic that allows us to traverse the ancient roman sewer system. Update is going to be huge, a big, beautiful update the likes of which you've never seen before. No ETA yet, so much more to do. Might throw up some special renders of Valentina in short shorts for those who give me more money. anyway, here's some renders of the girls standing in a nondescript hallway, with maybe a centurion standing just off out of frame."
