Sounds like a PC issue, you should probably pass on titles with Unreal Engine 5 or upgrade to an SSD/modern components. First loading takes maybe a minute or 2 for most people with any modern components(2019+). You should view screenshots of games and realize what your PC can handle and what it can't even though this title isn't very well optimized its certainly playable.

Holy fuck did I corrupt my files or something? The game is loaded with bugs and I can't even start a game or do anything in free mode.

uhm, how's the sex scene? is this where you just select a scene and it just plays (but with different position, whoope doo)? for a 38GB i am expecting I have all the control like, where can i insert, not like those in a VN select a scene and it plays...
man ! i really don't understand these sex game DEVS and the obsession with new engine, at least the previous version is playable on my 3080, now the game run like 25 fps max out vram and use about 30gb of ram LOL !
anyone know how to get past the first sex scene with isabel ! i max the "climax" bar and then it's just stuck there, can continue or anything !
Yah, it pushes my 5070 ti to about 14+GB VRAM when upscaled to 4k. It's somewhat similar to non sex game devs, Unreal Engine 5 is gnarly on resources and most games are terribly optimized. A lot of new games aren't optimized for reduced resources, the devs just want to get it out as fast as they can so they can spend less and make more money. But ya seeing like 22GB+ of Ram was wild to see and 14GB of VRAM was even wilder. Even on my high-end system it plays at a lower FPS than it should.
after get in the car, choose teleport and the game stuck at loading forever ? what a mess ! remember to save every 5 or 10 minute to save yourself some headache !
Playing on SSDs only will eliminate a lot of bugs, but there are still plenty of bugs, reduced loading time, eats a lot of ram,
