So, just like y'all I thought it was Luna's skin being to light that was messing up the updated model. It wasn't. It was the eyes. The light brown eyes did match everything else. I darkened them slightly and she looks a lot better. Also a good amount of Japanese women do have light skin like this. I watched a couple hundred videos on it. DON'T JUDGE ME!! LOL! Look up the Twitch streamer Emiru. She's half Asian and half German. She's got skin way lighter than this. Also Luna's half Irish, so....

I am seriously thinking about taking another month off like I did last February. I have been feeling a little burnt out as of late. It’s one of the smaller reasons this Alpha is taking so long. I’ve kind of been stretching it out somewhat. I’ve gotten to an age where I just can’t work as long as I used to. This has seriously hit me in the past year. The reason I don't take many breaks is because subscribers usually drop when folks do and I fear I'll have to go back to working a full-time job. I'm too old to go back to construction.

Dude, you don't owe any explanations about that. The people griping about it probably never traveled abroad. I do know that they're too obtuse to look up references on the internet. They go by what they see and think that it's gospel. Screw 'em!! Do your characters the way that YOU want to. That's probably part of the reason that you're feeling burnt out. Trolls can have a negative afffect on the creative juices. They're taxing as hell and need to take a long walk from a short pier. Some people would say that they need to go out and touch some grass. I say that they need to go out into a meadow and lay in it.

So after some thought and a lot of feedback from y'all I've decided to take off until Sep 22, 2025. AKA The first day of Fall. I wish I could work those 36 hour workdays like I used to but I'm just not capable of doing it anymore. I have been completely creatively drained the past two weeks. Getting old sucks!! I will still post some renders and even some "Fun" ones a few times a week on my break. I really appreciate y'all putting up with my old age. Oh, once the Alpha is done I plan on releasing it to everyone. Not all at once though. Gradually. It'll be kind of a thank you for putting up with me. Again, thanks for putting up with me. I'm doing my best not to burn myself out. I love making games and I want to continue making games.

For all that you're taking some well deserved time off, don't stop yourself if you feel the urge to play around with this stuff.
Rest is important, and so is doing what you want to do when you want to do it. From what I've seen you seem to genuinely like futzing around with these things, so telling yourself, "I can't, I'm on a break" would likely be counter productive to enjoying yourself, which I think is part of the real goal.
Do weird shit you wouldn't normally do, which given the weird shit you do normally do, I'm not sure I want to imagine. Or don't.
I guess what I'm trying to say is don't restrict yourself in any direction and use the time to do whatever you find fun.

I love Luna’s new reskin. She looks so much more realistic. Yes, her skin is a little lighter but there are a lot of Japanese folks who have light skin. Also she’s half Irish. Light skin is in her DNA…as well as alcoholism. LOL!
