Question. Does spending so much time looking at your characters draw you closer to them, or does all the work you put into setting up scenes and renders make you more acutely aware that they're fictional?Good morning y'all! Rendering will begin soon. View attachment 4740928
I'm not sure. I'm very aware that they're fiction but I did create them and enjoy watching their stories grow. Hmm. Tough question.Question. Ahh. No. I don't relive stress to my own characters.I thought that he was asking if creating the pictures made you want to relieve stress.
Please do not answer that question.
Appreciate the response. As with most things its kind of complicated isn't it? I was reflecting on how we can become sort of attached to fictional characters, and wondered if it might be even more so when you are the one who created them. But that's balanced by just how much work you put into setting up the scenes and rendering them. I kind of likened it to reading a story and something pulls you out of the immersion. The rendering and so on seems like it would have a similar effect.I'm not sure. I'm very aware that they're fiction but I did create them and enjoy watching their stories grow. Hmm. Tough question.
I've never really gotten attached to fictional characters like a lot of people do. I enjoy them but I don't really get emotionally attached to them. I get attached to real people, my friends and family, but not really fictional ones. I do get immersed into stories though.Appreciate the response.
