Hawky1984 (and anyone else as well), if it gets too bad, you can just shift+A, and choose a different one (works in most AVNs), unless Doc (Abere) changed it (and by "change it" I mean removed the other font options), though I doubt he would (others might though, because I think it might be possible)

Yesterday I made pickles. This is the first year I've been growing Melothria scabra, otherwise known as Mexican cucumber, and I pickled them in what we call the American way (with lots of vinegar, sugar, and other spices). When I stuffed the pickles into jars, I felt guilty, wasn't it racism, or a kind of xenophobia, forcibly turning Mexicans into Americans? Fortunately, I was reassured that I was canning in a pot that was probably Chinese. Then I realized that the jars were made in Germany, the knife I was using was made in Finland, and the paprika I was using was from Spain and Hungary. Plus, I was listening to music on an old Japanese player. I just feel so guilty now that I don't know if I'll ever eat those pickles. It's not easy not to be racist these days.

Here in Eastern Europe you rarely see anything other than whites, Roma and Vietnamese vendors. On Sunday I saw Indians, a whole family, with my own eyes for the first time in my life. So I stared at them a little bit openly. The funny thing was that at the same moment a group of (probably) Japanese tourists also passed by them on the escalator. Simply so much diversity in one moment that I probably won't survive in a whole year. I once read that you can recognize a racist when someone of a different race walks past you, you look back at them. Damn it, I look at everyone.

Where'd you get That from?? Even though I haven't played much of this game, I can't see what you see. I'm a 66 y/o black man who grew Up in the civil rights days of Alabama. I KNOW of racism & bigotry First Hand (and yes, there Is a difference in the two). I like this game Because it pokes fun at all of the tropes typical to some areas of the Southeastern US. For That matter, the REST of the country too. The Best way to deal with that type of behavior is to bring IT & the people who enact it, Into the light, make fun of it, show the irrationality of it, then move on. What you call Wokism is shit that my people have had to deal with in this country since, Forever AND, it ain't limited to the US. I've seen PLENTY of f*cked up comments about black people in this forum coming from other countries. That's not what irks me though. What IRKS me is the amount of people that Know the crap is wrong, claim that they are against it, yet when some nutcase makes an off-hand comment, None of you even bother to call it out. Besides, Abere is only portraying how some of those types are but in a semi-humorous way. So if I ain't got an issue with his content, Nobody else should. Hey, I love this game, precisely because it makes fun of clichés. And I meant Abere being racist sarcastically. Sorry if that didn't come across as that.
I'm from the west of Eastern Europe. Here, if you say "black" you're racist, no one dares to say the N-word anymore.

The problem is that in Europe, if you make fun of racism, everyone takes you for a racist. Even worse, if you say about an Asian that he is Asian, you are a racist, if you say about a black man that he is black, you are a racist. Society simply pretends that there is no other skin color and that we are all the same. But you can't fool your eyes. For me, they are all people, some good, others assholes. I don't care about color or orientation.

I know that was a term used with great frequency until about 40 or 50 years ago. Don't think I'd use if for some of the entertainers out there today, though - they're using either cosmetic or chemical means to take shades off. Look at Beyonce from when she first got started to the way she appears now - it's Michael Jackson all over again, though I don't know that she's had her nose shaved nearly as much, if any. People scream about "cultural appropriation", but don't seem to bat an eye when certain people of certain political perspectives do it.

That's not going to fly. These days, at least in the UK, you have to look at everybody to assess them as a threat. The UK now has some of the most dangerous cities in Europe.

As for racism - twenty years ago if you called someone racist in the UK they'd have looked at you as if you'd grown horns. If you'd done it ten years ago they'd have been mortified. These days, thanks to the word being so overused and abused by politicians and their paid agitators to silence opposition, if you call someone racist they'll just roll their eyes and assume they're dealing with an idiot.
