How do I progress after beating the two lizards? I can't pass the guard who claims there's a wild monster roaming around and there doesn't seem anything else to do.

Taking the ship back to the capital either ends in a game over CG if I have less than 100k gold or some wall of text and then it's back to main menu.

How to unlock the 2nd and the 6th crystals?

2nd crystal - have sex in first room in brothel.
6th - tease old man few time and then go sleep in bed.

Apologies but i'm new to RPGM as a whole. Is the way to watch these galleries always the same that you start from left to right row by row? or is it 1st column then 2nd column then go back to the 1st column but move to the right as the correct sequence?

Usually left to right, then lower column. In most jrpgs left to right will be progression along a single route, while the different rows are the different sex chars - fat man, shota etc.
