The developer is a woman, and yes, she's making the game solo. Regarding updates, the next post will be dedicated to the long-awaited update to version 7a. However, this first build isn't fully ready yet: everyone voted for more frequent updates, and no one wanted to wait for the full version right away, as it would take too long.

I had exactly the same issue. Here is how I "fixed" it :
1) complete the Advanced Trial
2) save your game while remaining inside the building
3) go back to the main menu
4) reload your save
5) leave the building

Sometimes it triggers immediately after loading the save, sometimes it does that after leaving the training facility. It's completely random. Same issue with the mutant boss creature in the sewers, but I haven't found a fix (yet).

I did that, it fixed it. Then I had to do the same trick outside, because the clinic had disappeared.

Fixed multiple major bugs. Download links has been updated (More links later). I updated the Unity version before the release because the previous one had security issues, and as a result some things that worked perfectly before ended up breaking. Sorry for the inconvenience!
