It isn't abandoned. Some spaz reported it abandoned and looking on the Patreon page, it looks like it's abandoned. But if you go to the discord, you'll see that the developer is close to releasing an update.

No post on Patreon states he abandons the game, so until I hear from them again I'll consider this information false.

By the way, I have high hopes for this parody, mostly about the writing.

Abandoned for the most part, but at the same time not entirely forgotten. Dev puts out WIP assets on Discord every now and then. Not frequently, but he does show the thing isn't entirely dead. This is from a few months ago, and there are some other things here and there.

As I understand it, the only way it will lose the abandoned tag is when there is a game update.
Nothing else will do it.
