I might be underestimating, or at least over simplifying @hvarbo, and I don't mean to suggest that players only like Lily for her hotness youth and long blonde hair (as well as her ample bosom, lest we forget). Her popularity was always comparatively rather high though, way back when she was nothing more than one static image and a couple of lines of dialog. Add in the anticipation factor over the long wait to face her, and you have the makings of a fan favorite.
It's a little funny that she is the least favorite of the devs though. She is getting praised here for her character depth, yet Bo Wei constantly complains about how much of a "basic bitch" she is. Koda isn't a fan either. Not that their opinions should have any impact on yours or mine or any fans, just think it's somewhat amusing. No, if I had to guess, I still believe her main attraction has nothing to do with personality. Fans will rationalize their likes and attempt to justify them, and I think that is really what is happening with Lily. I'm just not convinced that her popularity is because of her attitude or her underdogness (making up words).

Dude, what are you on about? Both get mentioned rather equally. Koda is getting discussed more recently only because his update is next up, and he was talking about possible future plans earlier. Trust me, No one forgot about Bo Wei. Everyone here recognizes his talent, no need to get into your white armor just yet.

Wow it's seem that the new main mistress system could be a very fantastic feature, hope it could be related with some bonus skill as well as new scenes of submission. Reguarding the chance of changing main it must be done imo, obv with some sort of minus in terms of gold or skill (similar to Yvonne, if you want to leave the "protection" of a mistress you have to give her something back, big mom style 
).
Can't wait to see the "prototype" of this new system and obv hope there's no more delays.

For the record, if you look at my post history, I said something pro-Khulan at a time when she was getting criticized, despite the fact she's my least favorite heroine. So my post wasn't some scheme to prop up my favorites, it was an inference based off what I've read people say about why they like or dislike ToT heroines. I don't deny that many people like young heroines, but personality does matter, especially considering the eroge fanbase is close to the VN/anime fanbase. And I don't see why Lily fans would need to hide it if we only liked her for being younger than the other heroines...? :coldsweat: In fact, I readily admit her looks are part of her appeal, but to me, it's not the central appeal.

You wouldn't need to hide it, that was my point. In fact, it's quite alright and even expected to base your likes off of physical attractiveness in the porn genre.

If you ask me why I like Lily, it's because she seems like the most feminine out of the cast. I'm more interested in cute girls than "sexy" MILFs. But yeah, Bo Wei in particular has been critical of Lily and her design. He is constantly referring to her a thot. The devs aren't stupid though. They realize how popular she is and I am sure they will take that into account in the future. I would think we will see a slightly more even milf to younger woman ratio.
Now, I can understand someone not liking Lily's tsundere attitude or artistic (non-MILF) design. But accusing a character in a porn game of being a thot just seems weird to me. And it's not like the other characters are eternally faithful either. Scarlett had a different puppy before she broke you, Khulan was ready to have another meal, and the main reason Cobra pays more attention to you is that you still have stats and gold to give her. This could be just my misunderstanding, but I always thought that Lily was actually the only one who was at least a bit interested in you.
A small walkthrought:
- In the first battle you should be able to get at least Rank D (just use slash over and over)
- Buy 5 Pots and use 1
- Saveload until you get Rank D in the 2nd Battle
- buy the boots and EQUIP them
- use 1 bottle and fight again
- in her normal stance: Guard
- in her guard stance: Fire slash
- in her magic stance: Slash
- you should get Rank C (if not saveload until you do)
- buy the leather Top and some MP pots
- you should be able to beat her in her 4th battle (Rank S 2000G)
- Buy the best armor and sword and stock up on pots
- heal up and fight her a last time
- In her back stance: Fire Dragon slash
- same in her hand stance
- if you win (Rank SS 4000G) you can then leave the area
she kills the old merchant after 5 losses and then therese appears
I can't start the game, it says it needs RPGVXAce RTP to run the game, does anybody know how to solve the issue?

@bahamut2195 Regarding Lily: it's true that she had a lot of fans even with very little interaction, but those few lines of dialogue really painted a picture of her personality quite well, expecially if you try different answers like we did for the walkthrough. Just by the little you interact with her before her floor you know that she's an underdog, that she is easily charmed (meaning innocence), that she's super bratty if she doesn't get her way (meaning immuturity), that she has a misplaced adoration for Cobra because she has power despite being a woman like her... and that she's a little shy about it.
Now again looks are important, but it's weird for me that the devs would call her a basic bitch when, at least for me, she's the character with more depth currently in the game. At this point I'm actually considering that Bo and Koda did her by mistake.

I think we'll get that once we reach the top of the tower, but that's a long way ahed.
Everyone talks about Koda because he's the one that wrote what we are commenting about, we would have done the same with Bo if he was the one that wrote that.
You need to download some RPGM file and install it to your PC. I forgot which one though, try and Google it!
