You people should stop making up excuses for bowei
No one is making excuses for bo, but you also cant fault that a large potion of people are here because of bo.
I do not support how any of this is handled or run, but at the end of the day im just another faceless internet voice who stopped being a patron a long time ago, you can search this thread for my name if you really wanna know what i mean or how i feel, but everything there is to be said has been. I've been lurking since this game came out and posting since floor 5-6, and honsetly i was giving bo the benefit of doubt for a long time but its pretty clear to see that he is an idiot or is so far deluded that someone manipulative like koda can easily take advantage of him.
Either way everyone looks at their brand, abusive or not for an artist their brand is like 90% of their success and every community has a breaking point. It will be interesting to see if those still drinking the coolaid ever reach that point.
That was a bit convoluted so let me simplify to the 3 points i was touching on;
-Delays or not ToT is a pretty enjoyable game
-Bo is stupid
-Everyone values their brand in some regard, scam or not
To append that last point, your argument about the patrons stands but it would be stupid not to believe that a consistent schedule of content/updates would increase revenue which doesn't track in terms of the project. Its not like bo is not putting in the work whether you believe he traces or not, its the fact that we are what one and half years? behind on an update that is fully in koda's hands.
Bo is not innocent but the short-comings are not on him anymore than any other project with similar non koda related issues, its on who he has convinced himself he cannot work without.
Im down for a little bit of bashing and critical evaluation every now and again but lets not let our frustration wildly skew the facts.
