Yes, the new content starts in the kitchen on the weekend at 9:00 am. But Jenny needs to have 800+ depravity, you can grind that by finding her at the pool in the afternoon or in the kitchen at morning on weekdays. Or just use the cheattool.
You also need the car.
There is no new button just mom saying something about you and your suddenly distant relationship with your sister. And after that you can start the quest on saturday/sunday outside of your home (19:00 or 7:00pm)(button appears like the jogging with mom button)

got the car and got the same hint,,, followed this but the mom is not triggering that event... any ideas?

please focus on mom, sister, and grandma for a while. it's weird that they are in the game since the beginning and have the least content.
