I get why the development takes so long.
It just 2 people.
And I can only imagine what spaghetti of a code the game has now with all those characters and interactions they have.

I was not trying to complain about speed or the amount of content they ship.
At the end of the day, they publish this game for free and my stance in general is that if I don't like something (and it does not damage me or others) I just avoid it.
It is just that I really liked the initial premise of this game and its early developments. I really want to see it succeed.
At the same time I fear that its ever-growing nature is leading to something more unfocused and less detailed in its microscopy.
