DON'T USE MAC! IT SUCKS ASS! Please for the love of God, do your research and you'll realise why there's no MAC version for the game. Apple is a terrible company with anti-consumer practices, same goes for game making. You have to do so many things in order to even maintain availability to update or make games on MAC

The game bugged out after I visited the elven city for the first time:
No Celica, no choice. Right before morning came, there was a skip button, like there was going to be an event cinematic but one never came and I got to this stuck screen.
I managed to get unstuck by using the dildo from inventory. So happy, I hadn't saved in a while.

I very much agree with you. Aside from the amount of grinding, I **really** liked the first half of the game.
The story at that point had some clear direction; when I fist saw the memories of the main cast in the time machine it was so nice.
But all these later developments put fetishes before everything else, and new characters are introduced just for the sake of adding one more tick to the list of possession/control variants.
To be totally honest, this tarnishes the value of the main cast in my eyes. The excessive lack of agency in Celina hurts the gameplay first, but also the story. From being just a bit too passive and naive we are reaching the point of removing her as a character. So what are we playing? Are we just seeing events unfolding? I mean, I would expect to at least engage in sex out of her own desires now that she has so many girlfriends, but no.
I really think her "acceptance" for possession, aside from pure mind control situations, should be a bit less casual to still have impact and be enjoyable after the 10th time in a row it happens.
The story *was* going in the right direction with the mechanics to determine the control quotas, or the presence of the doll and the elf lady as alternative bodies. But now the doll is basically useless considering how the mansion quests are going. And the elf it is the only moment in which we see a version of her with some spine or desires of her own. I would really like a bit more of that.
Also, a good half of the characters have been introduced in an update never to be touched again. The worst example is probably her childhood friend and the linked quest-lines... they are all just very much under-baked.
Instead of adding more and more locations, new filler characters finding new ways to abuse Celine.... I would just like to see more love for the main cast, and proper connections between characters as they were in the early game.
This version has plenty of bugs due to the new sleep mechanisms.
I would wait until the fixed v0.70.006 is uploaded.

Admittedly the wrath demon was only the first of the demon generals, so maybe others will have more impact later on. Here's hoping anyway...
It does feel like some of the minor plotlines were basically dropped. Maybe he'll continue to expand on them in the future but it we'll have to wait and see.
(I also can't help but wonder if we'll end up with a sequel someday called "Sea of Magic" where Celica and friends travel around as the new Phantom Pirates, that'd be cool.)

Started to play this game for the first time and I really liked to see the amount of content I had to go through in the quest section I already knew the game would be grindy af but damn. Then Nel comes in to help me level up faster it was a godsend just rinse and repeat until your lv.90.
Some customizations that I really enjoy even though what I like on her gives some minus.
The frustrating sp system where I can't activate everything I unlocked but it's not a real issue just save before a big fight and switch on/off what you really need.
Then everything I hate keeps on coming to my face a weak protagonist and that possession shit that keeps on expending itself this was supposed to be about magic but Celica can't enjoy her own life as a mage thanks to Nel Violet Glace and that list keeps on growing the further I play with that joke of body proficiency.
I'm stuck at the hotspring thanks to a bug from what I've read I need a save before making my way to it but I don't have one meaning that I tried to kill a boss without the most needed powerup so I don't know if she actually grow a spine and some heavy balls when she transforms but why does this game deviate so much into possession.
I though there would be some harmony between those characters to maybe fuse Celica's and Nel's spirit as a magical support and for physical support fuse Violet and Glace to have an attire set to help her grow on her journey but she's most of the time the one on the backseet of her own body a blank canvas waiting for some colors to splash on her until theres no white left for her a garage for every cars but her own.
After everything she goes through the only thing evolving is her magic she can't be more confident with it instead let's put some people who can't use magic in the first place use her magic without any problem thanks to a "body easy to use" it feels like increasing a body count.
She's way too passive on her problems and gets completely dominated by everyone I forgot Faylen so almost everyone because yeah let's grow a spine on the sub and perverted elf and no one else.
The progession of some relationships makes me boil thanks to the fact that when I don't like where something is going I voice it out and seeing Celica doing what I don't like with almost the entire cast because men are forgotten really bugs me.
You see that she ain't comfortable with it but scrap that she's not really the protagonist of her own story anyway so let's shove more down her throat if she wants to ever speak agin she will need to swallow. Right ?
Add to that a skip button almost useless for some scenes like Penelope all day pleasure and the chain fights of Velvetia.
And this might be an unpopular idea but with all that magic and potions there is nothing to be a futa with all those characters it's not required but a shame to not have the option imo.

Sorry to spoil/disappoint you, but its not Celica that unlocks the Celestian form. Nel does, which pissed me off.
I didn’t even mind the grind all that much but I wish we had more enemies encounters at one location so that its a bit more fun and diverse, and ofc add animations of the enemies “playing” with the allies. that’s something that should be prioritized over adding the same kind of possesive character all over again that really dont add anything new to the game anymore like you said.
And hard agree about the childhood friend, when I saw her for the first time I thought it was Violet. I admit I didn’t even bother with her events, I had zero desire to do so especially with that possesive lackey of hers around right after dealing with Glace, another character that posseses you, take over Celica’s body out of nowhere and me just staring at my screen as days pass and waiting as I can get ahold of controlling Celica again (it’s such an annoying mechanic and I genuinely wish we could beat her, get the armor and just be over with it). I was also severely underwhelmed finding out this is what the whole Selene plotline was about too, I really thought it was gonna be more interesting (Also whatever happened to that ghost expert girl who warned us about going too far w the whole possesing stuff?)
and I also wish we would work with characters already introduced, whatever happened to the Elves village and the whole plot with Galiene? Its also annoying that you cant ever find some characters ever again after speaking to them once (male usually ofc…). Also I’m old enough to remember when we could interact with Morden from the Order of Mages and it seemed like we could maybe built relationship with him (not anymore, of course). Also… there were so many plot important characters introduced like the Count, I really thought we could interact more with him as we unlocked the mansion but instead… you just build the relationship with maid. Or you get relationship bar for some of most random characters like the fairy who guards the tree and that hot spring gal… I’m just asking what’s stopping the creator for giving us option to have some events involving the gate guardians (like the Elf guy who told us his story w his ex wife) and add more depth and events to already existing locations that don’t involve possesion?
Here’s hoping that the Demon King himself will have ACTUAL impact…

It's not even Celicas story anymore. Nel has gotten extremely annoying
So I've been playing for about 4 days; level 90, all spells, celestial form, most relationships maxed... and I've come to the conclusion that this shit is ass.
Too many things lead to nothing. Grinding lewdness was a waste of fucking time, apparently. Celica isn't even a character. The soulless husk has no real agency in most aspects, especially concerning other characters. Everyone has to make the first move. And don't even get me started on a certain ghost...
Also, the rpg aspect seems good on first look, but the grinding is absolutely outrageous, like c'mon dev. There's even a less grinding mod ffs; that I couldn't use cause I'm on Android.
I had to edit a save from an old version to get shit moving cause it was such a chore and unbearably boring.
Like, the combat is so stiff and just not appealing at all. I prefer standard rpgm combat cause at least it's not slow and boring. And why's there some sort of save protection on the later versions?
I need more sp through maxing equipments, but that requires grinding for hours, and I can't save edit without starting all over via an older version cause of the save protection. Super lame. I come from work to unwind and have fun, not work even more on a porn game ♂

Or you could... you know... tell Violet to change into a more "basic" form when she first started.... or just don't wear her at all and kept her lock up in... whatever places she put the other stuff, including Celica other clothing, inside somewhere while easily pull it out again to change or use them when she needed at everywhere she goes...
Unless you hate her that much then... i guess leaving her alone in the forest near a well is also a good choice...

The "bugged" part is everyone's own fault here for playing the early patreon verisons which weren't meant for public release yet (which is when all the bugs are patched up). However, the "slowness" issue is due to a bad choice of engine for this sort of game. Ren'Py was certainly not the best choice but it's what they're stuck with at this point.
The cheating part is fair enough I guess since they put in anti-cheats only to then essentially sell the cheats back to their supporters at a premium. I agree that whole thing is kind of bullshit although the dev versions do offer more features beyond that at least.
