I agree. Almost all of Lester and Sarah's encounters end with Sarah falling asleep or leaving. I would love to see more pillow talk between them to showcase their comfort level with each other. They are at the stage in their relationship where they started forming their own live language : inside jokes, nicknames etc (let's face it, "Lester" is mouthful)
Also, we know lester was a lonely loser in his youth and In one of the chapters Sarah was longing for her younger days when she had less to worry about . Lester could gather that during their interaction and volunteer to give her "Hs/college boyfriend" roleplay experience, both to make her relive happy days of her life and to reclaim the lowest moment of his life .I would love to see Lester starts using Sarah's maiden name instead of Williams during that time, to widen the growing gap between Dan and sarah
I love this series: there are misfires like the latest chapter, but the highs are high so I'll keep reading. If there is one nitpick: I'm all for suspension of disbelief, like Lester being superhuman despite his bad diet and hygiene, but I still don't understand why either Sarah or Dan haven't 'reversed snooped' on lester already. He has been a significant part of their life, didn't it occur to them to look more into his background/past? May be Dan (or a private detective) starts investigating his past to have gain some advantage, tries to reach out to his friends and/or family. It would be funny if Dan spend money to fail his end of bg check as lester maintains a clean slate (this is Lester after all) while Sarah able to obtain more info just by fucking lester and make him talk.

I thought about that awhile back, when I was buying the patreon chapters and talking to Don, but the decided not to bring it up it, because I just don't think Dan thinks that way. He acts like he is a great computer person, but he is like me, in that he may have tech knowledge but doesn't have the first idea about anything criminal, like hacking. He just never learned as he didn't ever consider it as necessary to his life. Hard to be an Eagle Scout and then go off and hack a bunch of people; I know how that goes. Instead, if Dan is like me, he knows hackers exist and are computer experts, but probably still gets upset when he hears a story about this hacker who was arrested for breaking into a government website and then having his sentence commuted, followed by a six figure income to work for that same government office to now protect their system from people like him.
As far as private investigators, they are expensive and Dan can't even afford his rent right now, so it doesn't appear on his radar as a possibility.
Yes some pillow talk is needed. Instead of just falling asleep, I want Sarah to ask him to stay the night. Lester should demand she wake him up with a blowjob or kissing him till he wakes up. you are right there, the interaction between Sarah and Lester after they climax is woeful. This couple is having an affair and nothing being said post nut. The passionate and lingering kisses have great but come on. Except for a few moments when Sarah or Lester say a cutesy line, they generally go their separate ways. This is supposed to be an affair, Don really needs to up his game in this aspect. Quit trying to introduce or develop minor characters, like Marcus or Vernon who do little to advance the story arc. He should devote some scenes in the story where the couple interacts Intimately outside of the bedroom while trying to keep their affair secret. One way is to have Lester take Sarah on more dates. This way Lester gradually pushes Sarah to show him public displays of affection. Sarah will get off on the idea of the public seeing her being intimate with Lester outside the bedroom. Sarah will not realize the PDA and repeating the words “I love you” is all part of Lester’s master plan to seduce her as each passing intimate moment become more natural to her
On a side note, I noticed the post stating Don accidentally wrote about Sarah’s pregnancy in Chapter 30 but then deleting it. WooHoo I do hope it’s true not a tease, especially being only 7 chapters away.

i re-read Ch. 23 and thought about the dream Dan had.. I am curious to figure out why Don added this to the story. Was it a warning or foreshadowing what Dan might lose at the end. Sarah was easy as the first one missing, but then it got interesting to see his daughters were the first ones to leave him. And then followed out by his parents and in-laws. I had a theory and in my opinion, it kind of validates my idea Lester will charm their daughters and her parents as part of his process to seduce Sarah. So what is your interpretation?

Regarding post coital conversations: I always enjoyed the hints of Sarah's sense of humor in earlier chapters (the whole dnd adventure, sending a pic of chips to les etc) .She shared that side of her more with Dan but less with lester. Pillow talk might be perfect opportunity to explore her silly side, like them arguing about best vs favorite sex positions (she says cowgirl because it make HER feel good he says prone bone because she cums more in that position) which they then decides to test in round 2 etc
Also in the same note, I know they story is now moving to Middleton heavy zone, but I would also loved to see more of Lester being roommate-from-hell, pulling little psychological 'pranks' on Dan. like when he was asked to clean up the table, Lester goes to his room and returns back with Sarah's panties and using it as cleaning rag; blowing up close ups of Sarah's naked pics and hanging it in apartmant to see if Dan notices; keeping tally of how many times him and Sarah have made each other orgasm and using them part of the WiFi password (I personally know a couple who did this, I swear) playing an audio of Sarah moaning when Dan is sleeping; or using her moan as one of his ringtones etc. I know some of them are way too silly.

I don't read him as charismatic. Almost every character thus far either belittle ,fear or actively loathe him. I always thought Lester as someone who lets people underestimate him and then manipulate them after gaining some info about them ( like he did with Sarah's new boss) Sarah seems to be the only person who seem to genuinely falling for him and that's why he feels special about her, I think. Also it's much hotter for me if her entire family hates him and that makes their sex more taboo and very late stage rebellion-y
We also need to understand that children are more emotionally intelligent than most of the adults and I could see Lester bombing hard with the kids
the love road can only be from Sarah's side, it is not necessary for Lester. Do you really want Lester to get married, adopt children, pay the mortgage? I think his dream was just affected by Lester and Sarah fucking around. They didn't even bother to close the door as Sarah is giving less and less consideration toward her husband, not even really caring about him, while she is with Lester. She no longer thinks, boy, I would like to try this with Dan, but I have to do this with Lester as much as possible. Nothing suggests in the text Lester is sterile just Sarah stating to Dan she was taking precautions. Whether that means a diaphragm, IUD or morning after pill Don has yet to reveal her precaution. Why fight for her attention when it’s apparent Lester a hold on her. It would be hard at this point for Dan and Sarah to return to things as normal. Sarah enjoys her newfound sexual freedom with Lester while Dan has fallen into being indecisive and mute, which she takes as acceptance. Unless Dan takes charge or Sarah suffers a pregnancy, disease or indecent exposure charge, I don’t see this marriage ending well and would Dan think is the juice worth the squeeze? Normal people at this point would collect evidence, begin to lawyer up and prepare to file divorce papers.
I also see Detestable Liaisons ch. 5 and Neighbor Encounters ch. 3 are still in the alpha draft stage. I wonder what the hold up is for Don releasing the final drafts.
