Is it really for Dan? That's how he's been written and we keep being told how much he hates and loves it. Not to mention he hasn't really done anything to put a stop to it, so maybe it's what Dan wants. But I do agree with Psiber the story has to go to some dark places if it's going to be a dark story.

I don't understand how Dan puts up with all this, from psychological trauma to Sarah losing respect even for her daughters (using the children's room) and Dan also becoming passive. The marriage is over, the love is gone, the respect is gone. (I didn't understand Lester using the pineapple) can someone in the group explain?
