I think it's kinda like a sit-com TV show, one that's way past its prime. Were they taken the actors traits and personality are stretch and over exaggerated. To where they're nothing like the character you liked a couple of seasons ago. They really haven't got that much in common with their original character. It's what happens when you reach story fatigue. You have to have the characters act differently then try and build stories on their new personalities.

I remember when there were red flags in Dan's mind about his emails being edited, his computer being hacked, then the hospital being hacked, Lester's computer background and some private security firm was investigating things.

How long ago was that?
I want to say it was chap 23/24, it was after he got out of jail. There's been a breadcrumb here and there on following up but not much of anything has come of it.

I just hope Lester pays for his arrogance. Especially for his certainty that if he gets Sarah pregnant it will be a boy. If he sees a girl, he'll take after Lester, she'll be very ugly, a fat girl, with greasy hair, with Lester's face. I wanted to see Sarah's reaction, I hope to see Sarah trying to change Lester (Lester is already an option for her, she's already her man, she's seeing Dan's flaws and making Sarah see only flaws and no qualities. Leaving Dan in the basement to have pleasure with Lester was selfish, she didn't go to rescue her husband). And there is the factor of the bull that steals the woman, the bull that destroys the husband's life and destroys the husband. His goal is to end the marriage. Sarah doesn't want to stop. Sarah exchanges intimacy and loving words. She doesn't reprimand Lester, she doesn't say that this is just for Dan. Dan was a jerk; Lester shouldn't have let Sarah violate Sarah's wedding dress (he would have sex in Chicago, but not at his house). The cool thing is that there is no short-term way (unless he wins a lottery or a game of chance), which for Sarah will be humiliating in her head (Lester knows he is despising Dan). Lester must talk about Sarah leaving Dan, about divorcing Dan to be with him. Start some really hot sex, involve Dan, let Sarah take care of Dan, then Lester comes and gets involved, drives Sarah crazy, and begins the stage of Sarah leaving Dan. Dan has that in his head, doesn't have time to talk about all the sex, and Trisha shows up. For a woman determined to have a man, Trisha is moving very slowly. She doesn't care about Dan, and she has excuses: having children with Dan (an athletic man with a good physique and the certainty of a photogenic offspring, now with Lester and the certainty of a not-so-handsome offspring). Sarah has these points; she already has dreams of leaving her family and husband. These are signs that she has been denying herself. And to make it really cool, it would be great if she filed for divorce from Dan. Her parents would like their daughter to be with a financially well-off (responsible) man, a provider. Lester is the security that Sarah needs.

Just my opinion

Don Silver must either end this story OR make a major change for the main characters .
In my opinion - original story practically has come to an end, as it should be.
Toxic Attraction has won.
Evil ugly roommate achieved his goal, the beauty is his now, in every way and not just sexual, her husband doesn't matter anymore. Mission acomplished. Corruption complete.
In the last chapter they all simply can acknowledge the new status quo in their lives and try to live their new lives as best as they can.
Dragging on and on and with the whole Lester/Sarah and "frozen" Dan situation - won't make no difference to the story anymore, as we all could see in the last 9 or 10 Chapters.

OR

if Silver for some reason wants to carry on with the married couple and their sexual journey - in that case Lester must be removed from the story, so the married couple can get a complete new storyine.
The easiest way could be - Lester has a heart attack while having sex with Sarah.
Married couple finds in his room papers and access to his banking accounts, that way their financial problems get resolved.
Dan and Sarah have a real talk about their relationship and everything that happened and all the mistakes they've done and try a new start in their live, maybe moving to another city , find new jobs, meet new people and then start whole new watching/sharing wife-storyline with new rules and new situations where these rules might get bent or even broken.
Either way - the original Dan/ Sarah/Lester storyline is done, nothing new here anymore

Just the basic starting scenario is ridiculous. Lester, a completely misanthrope, rents out a room but then turns out to have a lot of money. Dan is an skilled executive married to an upper level healthcare administrator and decides he needs to rent a room instead of getting one of those furnished apartments. In a story set when the economy is doing very well, especially for people in healthcare administration. They always prioritize sex over their children and rarely think of them. Lester single handed takes down the hospital and then, with no paper qualifications, is hired to protect them from hackers because he says he can do it. Multiple plot points hinge on Dan having no protection on his phone. He's a parent—he has a password set! Not to mention that Sarah can't ever say no to the sight of Lester's dick, no matter how angry she is with him. Over and over again, the story is goofy.

TA is like a Marvel movie. Some of it reflects real human emotions, but it's a fantasy with little grounding in reality.
I really liked this story, specially because of the sex scenes, but Lester was never close to a real person.
He is a fat weirdo who lives in a shitty apartment. As story goes we discover:

*Is one of the best hackers who ever lived - he can fool a big security company and the hospital's IT department, hijacking their system and then being the white Knight who saves them;
*Got 200k in an 1 week job and dont gave a shit, because he can sell illegal stuff with zero problems;
*Has a brilliant mind, probably at Sherlock Holmes' level - he can plan and antecipate everything everyone will do. Sarah, Dan, Jesse, others will behave exactly how he plans and make decisions just the way he wants, no setbacks ever;
*Fucked his roomate and made videos - seriously, in what world a young pretty teen like Lizzie will share a rent room with a creepy single older guy???? And maybe were others before.
*Is a sex god with an infinite sex drive, and can manipulate any living being, but was alone when the story began;
*Is a fat sedentary guy who eat only junk food and almost dies climbing a ladder, but can fuck nonstop for hours.

So, we have a brilliant skilled guy who could be millionaire and have an harem of girls, but preffer to live in a crap room full of garbage waiting for a hot girl to show up and become his sex toy.

I understand your fantasies, although I have comments about the appearance of the child, first of all, genetics is a complex science, and second of all, for a normal, adequate mother, the child will be the best, most beautiful and desirable in the world.
Regarding Lester, he found Dan's weakness, namely, he has an erection from the fact that he sees the behavior of Sarah and Lester. Even when Sarah confesses her love, it excites him and he has a cock when he goes down to the basement. This is already an addiction like a drug addict, and to get a high you need a larger and larger dose.
Maybe I missed something and if you can tell me why Lester has such hatred for Dan who wants to destroy him literally physically, this question is unfortunately not fully revealed.

My thoughts from the very beginning, he's like a super man disguised as "fat bastard". It never made sense how he was he could fuck all night but has never seen his own dick.

Just read the island story. It's extremely boring. Don't know why he's starting new series when Neighbor Encounters us still unfinished.
I can't speak for DS, however for me it's important to cleanse the palette so to speak. I know readers want authors to focus on only the story they want to read. Nothing wrong with that, it's human nature. The downside is that if you focus everything on one, you're writing tends to suffer. You get bored and lack inspiration to write it. (As an aside I think this is partially why Chap 33 forked to the throuple concept.)

Sometimes you have to step back and take a break, let the creative energy recharge. Sometimes you need to write something else clamoring to get out of your head; in a different genre or from a different viewpoint. So when you come back to "the" story you have a fresh perspective and a renewed energy to actually write.

This is a mandatory rule or only for writing erotic stories.
I was actually interested in this and I am burning with the desire to understand it, I will try to explain why.
When I read Theodor Dreiser (a trilogy of desires) or Erich Maria Remarque (a triumphal arch), these are my favorite works. There is a sequence, there is logic, and there is empathy for the characters described in the novels, but when I read TA, I lack emotions and logic (if I don't perceive how this fiction at the level of Andrew Norton (the queen of the sun) will end for an emotion), so the question is it a common practice to switch from a writer in writing a book to a book or is it completely individual?

It's not a practice that is mandatory for any style of writing. It's just a practice that some authors use, whether it's long form books or short form stories like erotica, to help them stay creative and have fresh ideas.

I agree with you.
Although I didn't manage to read it to the end because it was too dull and boring...

The author would like a new name for his story and has therefore asked readers for suggestions.
I would like to make this suggestion, perhaps you could pass it on. I'm not a member of the site, so I can't post anything!

It was meh IMHO...it's always the same thing with some of these writers now...like they lack the imagination needed to write new stories...wife/girlfriend see antagonists cock suddenly gets wet then gives blowjob after some back and forth and a little reluctance the have sex with said antagonist..just by reading the outline everytime she goes back she'll have to do something eventually leading to full blown sex..I know it's her son but it's fiction...have her walk away disgusted by what he's implying...he's seen her body and wants it willing to do whatever to get it...making her believe he's come around just so he can get into her panties idk...just something different..
