You know what I am thinking of a "trad" ending here

Dan and Lester have to unite to protect Sarah from someone ( say that stalker whose name I can't recall)

Lester gets a heart attack and a change of heart (figuratively) and decides he loves Sarah . Like "love

That becomes his downfall and sentinel starts catching up to him and now Dan has to protect him and participate in his schemes

Lester with his new morality corrects the couples life while he is dying meanwhile Sarah gives birth to his baby which is about sealing the trio forever

Lester soon dies and Dan and Sarah bury him and all saying he was their "good friend " .

Sarah still pines for him but she has a family and Dan to tend to and realizes her mistakes . Dan meanwhile is finally cured of her cuckolding kink and searches through Lesters stuff to finally discover all his tapes and shit.

He destroys them but keeps some for his own pleasure. He never tells Sarah out of his final respect for the monster

This is the only "trad" ending I can think of where all 3 get their own ways and move on

If Don was writing this story right now I could see your outline. But I strongly believe someone else Is writing
and the story of Dan and Sarah for me is over.

I don't know if I'm a good person to ask what I would do with the plot because I'd chuck the bully theme altogether. It's too hard for me to switch mental gears from tragedy/pain to pleasure. In short it felt like reading the script for the first episode of 'LOST,' but where some of the edgier characters unleashed their darker impulses. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have liked it but the first chapter wouldn't have had any sex in it, beyond maybe a mental fantasy. I'd have set the scene for what would occur later in the series (which he did), but the Mom going all horndog, was too fast and too much.

Sarah has already completely changed Dan! In her dreams, she leaves Dan and her family and goes to Lester. Lester would never accept sharing Sarah with Dan. The best thing is for Dan to see Lester give pleasure to Sarah and Sarah in depravity. - End of the series: Lester conquers Sarah and Trisha has Dan for herself (Dan thrives away from Sarah). Sarah becomes pregnant and divorced from Dan (Lester now continues with the search to impregnate Renee), with the last arc with Dan x Lester when Lester talks about having a harem. Having a passage of years. Then Lester can die, a very exciting confrontation, all the depravities come to light.Lester thinks I have Renee, Sarah, now it's just a matter of the girls when they get older. They'll go to college, I'll give them the initiation they need... When they were kids they didn't like me, when they become women they'll change their minds.

We're at the point where Sarah will leave her husband for Lester and increase the humiliation (which will be words of contempt, to destroy Dan). The chair is part of a cuckold fetish (things Dan is afraid of and has already told Sarah, and she said she would protect him from them). It would be one of the betrayals. I hope Trisha gets involved, talks about work. For those who are interested in Dan, she rarely contacts him (she can get smaller jobs), until she uses these pretexts to call Dan.
I hope to see Sarah and Lester making love, Dan talking nonsense, and Sarah constantly asking Lester to get her pregnant.

I am not sure how much of that will or won't happen, but, I have a thing when Sarah defends Lester when talking/arguing with Dan about Lester. She truly wants Dan to leave Lester alone and that might be the straw on that broken camel's back, Sarah yelling at Dan to back the fuck off and leave Lester alone. Maybe Dan involuntarily cries and Sarah sees it and uses it to emasculate her husband in front of Lester.

Legitimate question. I'll answer by asking: what story points have you read suggest this marriage isn't already damaged beyond repair? It could morph into a partnership style where Dan learns to embrace his cuckold feelings and Lester doesn't despise him, and they all live happily ever after. But that probability seems really low based on the authors desire to make this a dark story.

Family values and a trad marriage seem to be topics you care about, nothing wrong with that. I support your voicing an opposing view and encourage you to share your speculation on what you'd like to occur. However keep in mind that the judgmental tone makes it hard to have a respectful conversation.

Its not real, its fantasy. Also, Don said from the beginning that the story was dark. Some of us like a dark fantasy. In reality things in a dark fantasy are repugnant, but in a fantasy things can be explored that we ordinarily would not stomach. As I have said before, its like Star Wars. Empire Strikes Back, imho, is the superior film compared to all others. This is in part to the fact that the bad guys win and Darth Vader fucks with his son's head, while exposing the fact that Obi and Yoda have betrayed him, by hiding the truth from him. In fiction, I live for that shit.

1) people can read a story for what it is without projecting their emotions for what it is . Yes it happens a lot

2) regarding your point about functional marriages. I don't think the couple in this story have what you call a "functional " Marriage at all .

Yep it skews it a lot. People will 1* it simply because they don't believe the story belongs in the category. Even if the writing and story are really good. Sad but some choose to read the warnings and tags and then get upset when it's not the story they wanted it to be.
