Attraction: Chapter 37 Alpha

Hey folks, just dropping this here before the holidays ramp up. I'll edit this but, I'm writing Neighborhood Encounters for the rest of the month.
As always, this is an Alpha draft with all kinds of grammatical issues and typos. I'll fix them in the final draft, along with changes based on your comments. I have a couple of things flagged to update and change here in the final draft. But for now, here it is.
P.S There is a lot going on in this chapter.
-----------
Sarah shifted the car into the park then looked at herself in the mirror. She knew it was vain to think so positively of herself but she looked good. Despite all the stress and issues she was going through in life. None of it showed on her face. Her round, piercing blue eyes still looked back at her, framed by her healthly blonde hair and sharp features.
In the passenger seat, Sarah’s mom Renee put her phone into her purse, looking equally radiate just older. Sarah prayed that she would age as gracefully as her mother.
“The restaurant should be around the corner,” Sarah said, opening her door.
“Is this the best neighborhood?” Renee asked, still in car, holding onto her purse tightly.
“Mom, it’s fine. Maybe its not the best neighborhood but all the up and coming chefs who want their own place can’t afford to lease in the more popular areas. You chose this place, remember? Instagram right?” Sarah asked. A chilly wind ran up her legs, playing with her little black dress.
“It looked nice inside,” Renee said before opening her door and stepping out. “If I knew it was this kind of neighborhood I would have told you not to wear that dress.”

I'm not sure the purpose of all of this, to get people to leave and go to patreon? Shame us? Tease us? It seems to be a continuing theme though, these posts.
