It's time to wrap up the build and get it into a playable state. The group's trek will have them visiting locations that prove important for the next few chapters. At this point, while the Burned Ones are still an annoyance and something to be avoided, it's clear that they're the bottom rung of the danger ecosystem, with the Witches moving into their place as a prominent hazard. Now imagine if there was something worse out there.
Speaking of which, we've had a little fun indulging in some of the fans' jokes about romancing a Witch, including the latest exclusive wallpapers, but let me be clear: That's not happening. That's not to say there's not some nightmare fuel to be mined from that idea. But Girl #4 is coming soon, and I'm sure there'll be some OPINIONS about her.

Laura and Kallie said the "Witch is that way", but Shelley only heard "which way" and heads directly for the threat.
(Yes, I guess that means the Witch has to come out during the day now too.)

I seriously doubt it. The MC's ex-wife is named Nancy. According to the variables, Girl #4's first name starts with E.
K for Kalie; L for Laura; S for Shelley; E for Elaine? Erin? Emma? Edna? Elizabeth?
Just as long as it's not E for Ebeneezer!

Yeah, really curious about the 4th if he already expects OPINIONS.
If it's the ex, i prefer the witch, just saying...or letting the ex get turned into one, seems like a overall improvment, at least her personality will be more likeable

New girl is less exciting, best girl role is already taken by Kallie.

I mean... the first two thing that i get for the word OPINIONS is either something really controversial like the ex wife for example, or two big "opinions" aka a smoke-show.

I just get that people will have different views on her... you know, like the definition of the word opinions (I know shocker). So probably the first that you said: something either controversial or divisive, like half the people love her and half hate her or something.

The ex would be controversial but i doubt it, other reasons could be:
she's a sex worker, futa/trans (thought i don't think so with this dev), maybe she has a very striking personality (which will piss off a lot of people), being hostile towards men (maybe some bad experiences), or it is how they meet, being hostile at first, maybe she even hurts someone of the group etc.

If the 4th girl turns out to be the ex-wife, it would certainly complicate the MC's harem building! Kallie and Laura would probably back off, and it would take a lot of work to bring them back. Only Shelley might be okay with it and still pursue the MC. Nor would the ex-wife be jumping into the sack with the MC right away, given how they split. MC might have to do some self-help for awhile.
Well, it's a little early to be worrying about that. We'll find out soon enough - probably before the end of this month.

I originally thought the 4th love interest would turn out to be the person who used the weapon, since we heard gunshots several times and that detail has to be relevant again.
If she is connected to that, she must have a police or military background. A person like that would probably be unhappy with us fucking everyone in our current situation and might try to take leadership of the group.

Possible, but we kinda have that already.
IIRC the MC is in his early 30s.
Kallie is in her early 20s & Shelley is a 2nd year colloege student so 20 i guess, can't get much younger.
Laura, is arround 40 (which isn't old), but we have a age gap of around 10 years down and nearly the same up.
I mean, he could introduce a 60y old woman...at least Shelley's comments should be funny
At least she would be usefull. I really hope the 4th isn't another which needs babysitting and can get shit done.
Police/military background would be nice, that probably would also mean she knows where the group could get better gear (gas masks, or guns). Because lets be honest, they won't make it as is, their health is deteriorating way too fast and they barely managed to move across campus.
As for taking leadership, that's not necessarily bad and would make for some nice conflict.
The MC's health is already bad and gets worse because he doesn't eat enough, he also has a habit of picking the worst places for sleep...i mean, that's chivalrous and all, but a really bad choice if he is the one which the whole group relies on, he's the one which needs to be the best feed and gets good rest.
He also could really learn a thing or two about securing a area...

That my bet. A girl who is gonna be antagonistic to the MC maybe even all the girls. Maybe someone more evil align, that we gonna have to put up with for the sack of survival. Or at least if it's not that extreme she won't get along well with the group i general.
