I would argue that even without fog the constant stress both from these events and the family issues as well as sleep deprivation, fatigue and lack of proper nourishment would do that and much worse to a person, you would experience short memory losses, irritation, intrusive thoughts taking over, mental instability and so on. Never expect people in such state to act rationally.
The fog, on the other hand, does clearly have some kind of hallucinogenic effect, Kallie's dream during the witch's visit shown that, and all their other dreams are also of the Burned. Maybe even Laura during the Uni dorm arc had similar hallucinations, we just didn't see her pov that clearly. Maybe taking over a person's mind is how they turn into all other types of Burned compared to the regular ones.
And the MC had the nightmare of Kallie as a witch...

Okaaaay... so, I had a huge cup of caffeinated willpower and I did a thorough inspection, cleaning, reinstalling, and reconfiguring my entire system (not Windows, though), and the bottom line was, nothing changed. Then, I uninstalled the game, meticulously scanned the disks, and finally reinstalled the game, and that was it. Although there were no error lines in the log file, something, probably a corrupted file, was causing the malfunction. How? That will remain a mystery, but for now, I won't dwell on this shit any further than necessary.

Possible, but I think that's less likely. Kallie is the only one that seems a "clear" example of it, and given her terror over the fog creatures generally and her terror over how Andrew treated her, merging of the two in nightmares is unsurprising. I would chalk that up more to mental strain generally and some degree of PTSD than I would to the fog causing hallucinations — for Kallie and the MC, if not eventually for everyone. (All of them other than possibly Eve have pretty messed-up pasts.)
I do think, though, that things like this are built into the story, though. Just like the characters themselves, it becomes steadily harder to tell some aspects of previous reality / memory with current events. And with the fog-creatures exhibiting different behaviors and even now types, this type of thing is only going to get worse, I assume. In addition to in other ways, having Eve join the group will probably help them somewhat "stabilize" (for lack of a better term) in this area as well.
Eve at a minimum has a history of being a victim of attempted sexual assault--I'd say that's on at least a similar level to a cheating husband, a verbally-abusive ex-wife, or the shitbag that is Andrew. Though when Eve gets in line to kick Andrew's ass, we'll know she's truly one of the group.

It's when she's back at the house, talking about prepper camp, and sent more than one (I think--at least one, but my memory is more than one) guy to the hospital with a knife to the junk.
Funny enough the protagonist calls them Burned Ones mentally before meeting Shelley and she mentions they call them that, and then everyone starts doing so.
Knowing Eve she probably doesn't have a name for them, at least for the basic ones. Has she mentioned if she saw a witch besides the one we accidentally brought over?
No, but if my memory of the conversation is correct, it needed to happen more than once.

Hi, I started playing this game a few days ago with the mod installed, not to cheat, but to be able to view stats and track character's progress and the impact of my choices. At first, I didn't pay much attention, but now I see Eve's stats, even though I haven't met her up yet, are evolving as mirroring Kallie's. I might be mistaken, but it seems strange to me. Or is Eve a dissociative personality of Kallie? You know, as they all seems to loose their shit litle by little and I'm at the point where Laura starts blowing fuses and running out of the dorm incoherently. You go go go girl... Just the right time to confront your hubby about his infidelity, yeah?

The four potential LIs in this game all have the same six variables: anxiety, desire, friend, love, sex and trust. As of the latest release, the only variable for Eve that can be incremented is for trust. At this early stage in the MC's relationship with Eve, I don't see how anyone could see her 'mirroring' anyone, especially by someone, like yourself, who hasn't played far enough to even meet her yet.
Nor do I believe that what you have happening to Kallie is even close to what actually happens. Are we playing the same game?

You are using a mod, not created by the dev, to view stats, which the dev already had that functionality built into the game. Expect it not to work perfectly.

Most of the mods aren't made by developers, and most of them usually work perfectly fine

The fact that this dev has made 12 updates already within a year of developing has to be applauded. I cant remember being annoyed by typos bugs or having to replay the game completely at every update.
So with most devs taking longer than a year for an update (of course more content per update but still) this dev is really doing an amazing job.
Edit: I did not even realize that he also has been working on another game additionally, which he finalized yesterday. That makes it even more impressive.
