Depends on Kallie's Anxiety level. If it's low enough, she does actually save him. But if it's high, she only provides a momentary distraction, so he can save himself.

At one point the MC brings up the inconsistent pricing on the gas station and Eve mentions he is the type to notice every little insignificant detail.
Felt like he was poking fun at some people lol
Otherwise, we see Witch Kallie which means we have technically had sex with a witch! Also the tall fucker was neat, noticed the shadow in the back and was wondering if it was a burned one before it apparently didn't seem to move for a scene and I wrote it off then BAM.
Also am I the only person who always watches the fog in the window in all the scenes near them to see if I can find a Burned One or a Witch? I think there was only one in the background this time, during the scene where he is talking to Kallie while looking for clothes.

He's still doing all those things for the good of the group, not himself. In fact, he only does the bare minimum for his own survival, and if he was alone, he wouldn't be taking so many chances, I wager. It's pretty clear that's how his character is written.

So... it looks like there is something that seems to be following the MC at the end of the last release. The developer once said that there was something worse than a witch. Are we about to meet it? Will it follow the MC, who would have Eve and her shotgun as backup, or will it try to enter the house? 
Whatever it is might be pissed because all his burned-one buddies got slaughtered.
Oh, and if burned ones come from men, and witches come from women, what the hell does that thing come from?

This got me hooked to the story more now when I noticed it, that means there maybe different types of creatures out there that the John's group isn't aware off. Now John's group will seriously need guns, shotguns, rifles and grenades if there are more of these giant burned once out there.

Kallie is definitely the biggest loser of this update. Before all this, she was the only one that could be trusted. Now that's gone. Let's see how this relationship develops in the future. Getting angry in front of the girls is counterproductive, regardless of how much right MC has to do that, but the fact that MC has to apologize for being duped is pretty ridiculous.

I think the only way MC and the women survived is by teaming - so yes, I agree - MC Does need the women.
Eve is the only person we've seen in more than a month of this supernatural disaster who seems like she can survive on her own and, with the reveal of Daddy Long Legs at the end of this rev, I suspect that even Eve would need help to survive.
Yes - Mc's team is very far from ideal but they are still there for each other and a sense of purpose (helping the others survive) is a major driver for some human beings - I know it would be for me.
If I had to start this disaster with two office coworkers whom I trusted or get two random strangers, I would go with the coworkers every time - trust being the key, not gender.

With all the talk about the big fella at the ending, I'm about to change the subject completely.
I've been upset since I played the ending. I see that absolutely no one else is as upset as I am for the reason that I am. At least no one has written about it.
I'm going to throw all this under spoilers, but be forewarned, what I'm suggesting is not pretty.
I am really afraid that Kallie has done herself in.
Here are the indicators that make me think so:
1) We haven't seen Kallie since the MC stormed out and left her sobbing. Not in the entire time that Eve was there.
2) There is no response if the MC goes to knock on the bedroom door, not even if he declares that he loves her.
3) The door is locked, so she is not just in some other room or the garage.
4) The MC has seen a witch that strongly resembled Kallie on at least two occasions. Foreshadowing?
5) The developer has warned us that there would be suicide discussions.
The only counter argument I have come up with (other than the shitstorm it would cause), is that there is an update for the love variable and there is a variable saved if MC says he loves her. Not all that convincing to me.
So, are we about to witness an Acting Lessons-level moment here?
I know I won't feel better until I can see a preview with Kallie in it. Perhaps not until the next release.

I honestly don't think he'll have the cojones to kill off a main LI.
Shelly, maybe, she's not really main girl material. Eve only just popped up, not unheard of for new girls to die. Got a feeling we'll probably run into his ex who's either a witch or in some sort of shit situation where he'll either have to put her down or save her.
Killing off Kallie though ... i'm gonna go out on a limb and throw in my 100% that the dev won't have the balls to do it nor should he.
Man, that's really selling me on hurrying to play the new update...

The new girl spitting facts. I love her already, she's the favorite now. It's honestly nice to have another character who is competent, emotionally stable and mentally resilient. Strong presence, capable and a badass girl boss in a positive light. I really hope dev don't reduce her to another whiny, insecure mess of a liability like the other 3 girls. MC is the pointman but he needs a reliable slackman and Eve can fill that role perfectly. They both have that synergy.
