Think I accidentally included my save file in the upload... well if anyone wants a "complete" save with a half built station with a few already trained samples and a crap load of Elizabeth's it's already there by accident :HideThePain:

What exactly is the deepscan supposed to do? It just lowers the inteligence, but I don't see it unlocking anything. I assumed it would tell me what skills it might unlock.

Having save file and screenshots is not the problem, the problem is there is a new folder with directx12... I guess it's not for Win7 anymore... so I know if I still follow this game or not. Confirmation please? Error when launching. Build20 was perfectly fine.

Think I took those screenshots as I didn't realise what the button was doing :KEK:

Looks like D3D12 folder comes in the zip, either way just try deleting the folder as it seems to run fine with or without it for me.

There is only two machines available on start, INT suppressor and extractor, so i have no idea how lower her willpower, another patreon trash, thx and delete.
All you need to do is click the icon and switch it to the willpower suppressor on the training machine you use to lower int.

It's pretty poorly explained throughout the game, this wasn't an incredibly difficult one to work out though the UI doesn't give much hints, but honestly it's not giga trash like some stuff I've seen.

It really needs a large content update, tutorials, quest markers & huge rebalance of every resource in the game. At his pace I predict 2026. :Kappa:

Bio slime certainly is to rarely available or consumptionrate is far to high.
Once you use Upgrade moduls training becomes close to impossible

The entire resource system is extremely unbalanced, at least he's patched biofuel usage for training for most things in this patch (think milker is still extremely unbalanced).

A rant:

The fact it's impossible to get some decent upgrades via research points before getting the machine to drain research points out of samples just makes the game horrible to play, you can barely upgrade your combat stats which makes any mission later on in the game a tedious slog/cheese fest.

There's no way to craft upgrades & resources as of yet so getting them is either done by buying at black market or looting repeatable levels. It's just a horribly unbalanced game, least there's cheats to offset this stuff.

I really want this game to do well despite this, but he needs to sit down and think about the fundamental issues rather than adding unfinished worlds and elves...

Look at the gauge above the window which shows it lowers the intelligence. With brain-like elements on it.
It has several layers, with numbers on them. The leftmost number is traits that are currently visible. To the right of it, are traits that are still hidden, but can be revealed by the machine. So if you see a zero, that means the sample has no more secrets to reveal.

It seems that one run of the machine reveals exactly one trait, regardless of other parameters. The rest of it is just for extracting emotions from the sample.

I recommend taking samples that are on tentacle planet, near the public sex spot. There is a place where there are exactly 4 of them being held, and they're very likely to secretly be transformed men, which gives you 2-3 hidden traits to discover, and they all add nicely to their market value. Because in the future, a trans woman is more valuable than a natural one, or something.

Anyone had a bug where stuff in the base just vanished? I just lost 2 machines with very expensive samples, effectivelly taking away hours.

Nope, in my multiple playthroughs in different versions, I don't think I encountered a bug like that. Maybe you just accidentally moved them somewhere else?

Nope, but I noticed that It happened after I tried to scan an elf. When I returned to station, I still had the UI as if I was on a planet, with elves on the right side panel being captured. I lost couple of machines, Head researcher and captain and some other stuff. Too bad it's just one save, so if something goes wrong, you are Fd

I see, so it must be some new bug. Maybe it'll be fixed in a later version.
Note that you can make backup copies of the save files. In case you want to keep experimenting with that bug. And you can have multiple save files in the same folder, the game normally does it if you make multiple playthroughs.

So, any info on how you train samples to go out with you? I noticed if you try it with untrained samples, they just start shooting at you.

Leave the village through the entrance to the village you first entered from. You will see a shootout. Avoid it by going to the left of it. You will see some irregular terrain where a box has hit the ground hard. That's the box you need.

Maybe try obedient or totally obedient samples?
Total obedience can't be trained, it seems, and needs to be found. While obedient can be trained from airheads.
