Honestly I tried many different translation engines with MTool, I couldn't get any to work. Someone further up on here posted a link to a translation that does work as long as you have MTool premium and are on the "Test" version of the client you can use it and it works great. I went through a half hearted playthrough. I'll probably call it quits until further patches come out. Bugs started appearing after I got to the parts around the fifth dragon. H-scenes never play in story. At first they wouldn't play in gallery until I redownloaded the game and transferred the saves but the h-scene problem in story still applies. Some of the scene requirements are unknown to me as well.
Only bright side is that I have a new game + for when updates do come out.
I still find it dumb that you can't skip the ending credits after clearing the game once.
The gallery also has a bug? that prevents you from changing character portraits.

I haven't gotten very far in game normally. I'm still on the desert village area without any or much of any cheating involved. I did start messing around with a lot of variables and parameters in MTool itself after I got to that point in main story. When you talk about the gallery bugs are you referring to the gallery thats on main menu/title screen? I haven't run across a bug as of yet with it, some people say any scene in gallery is just a black screen when viewing and u have one that prevents changing character portraits? I haven't experienced anything like that yet. Only pain for me is getting the scenes to stay unlocked and having to find and go through changing hundreds of numbers just to get all the scenes unlocked and displaying in gallery without the game abruptly crashing and having to restart all over again.

1) After a certain point H-scene aren't watchable in the story (just black screens and eventually or quickly ends). I'm certain that some of them didn't even save into the gallery to watch there.
2) Normally, in an Acerola game, you are able to change character costumes in the gallery for the non-story scenes. The main girl's bust can be changed too. Here, I found no option for that no matter what I clicked. It was just: Title, cancel, and black screen background on/off
Are you using 1.05 or not? You should not have problems with story CGs with that version anymore. I've finished my True Ending run and every scene played out as it should.

Costumes require you to lower their "shame(?)" stat. You can do that with various H interactions or use one of the heart items from the shop. Every character has about ~5 costumes, the main character having the most.

No, I only have 1.04. And by costumes I mean the main menu/title screen gallery. Normally you can change costumes and the heroine's bust but I found no option for that.

sure, 1.08 release date is 02/04 and its still only 02/03 for me but DLsite allows me to still download it. I'll recheck site tomorrow night for 1.09 or even possibly 1.10 or whatever update number it may be.
