It's still on my list, I will eventually come back around to it.
As I have time and motivation, which has been sadly lacking of late. I have a comparatively lighter load this summer, which could address the time part, but no idea when my motivation will surge again.
Are you still planning to update the machine translation of Daiteikoku, now that Jast usa is translating the game.

Boarborn & ItzSyther check this out

...Also, does F95 have DaiAkuji lol
Shittttt idgaf if its machine translated or not fr.

The simple fact we have anything.....beggars can't be choosers or whatever.

Its like the one Alicesoft game that I don't think any company would've touched.

Thanks for sending!

Just curious, but why? I don't know a ton about it, I just heard it was kind of the precursor to Daibanchou, and I love the gameplay and mechanics of that one so I was always curious to try it (but unlike Daibanchou I never saw a translation for DaiaKuji.)

First of all, it's a System3 game. System3 is horrible to work with (Daibanchou as a counter example is System4). Then, being quite old, not that many people might be eager to spend money on it.

Oh the github link is for Daiakuji not Daiteikoku (both apart of the same series but not connected beyond the 'Dai' branding).

You need to acquire a legal copy of Daiakuji (or find someone willing to share) to apply the github translation.

On DLSite, when it's on sale, you may get it for 3~4€.

For those who don't want to buy Daiakuji here's a link but you'll have to find a way to crack PlayDRM (I have no clue how lol):

there some old information here and there but heres some old methods for chears

Q: Is there any cheat code?

A: Ask a ninja. The last option in the event phase "明石大佐爆参", unlock the super spy Colonel Akashi. From the next turn the last 4 options in the event phase allow you from the top:

  1. steal resources points, from 3k to 30k, it seems to be proportional to the number of star regions controled
  2. steal research points, also proportional
  3. fully repair all your ships
  4. he appear in your fleet when you have to defend a planet (if you have to defend more than one planet, he appear each time) for just one turn
A: You can use artmoney to edit you resources points and research points.

There used to exsist a save file editor for the game but its unknown if it could be found again

If anyone is curious someone is doing a full English translation of the game:

They are roughly 25% of the way done with it so it won't be out for a good long while.

Not the same game. The one you're talking about is Daiakuji which is, from what you've shared, getting a fan translation. Meanwhile, Daiteikoku is getting an official one by JAST, though I don't know how much progress has been done since the announcement.
Same series, though. So still a good news. I just felt I had to give the precision so people don't get their hopes up.

Thanks for clarifying :)

I honestly forgot to mention it was for another game in the Dai series.
