Scrolling through Ci-en, seems like everyone is furious. They didn't actually "fix", just straight out remove things that might seem like a bug. They removed voice on some scenes and then promised to deliver them later. The Japanese don't like that attitude and everyone want an actual apology (They really really fuck up this time huh)

nah, the same as always, they will fix it, they will sell a lot and make a lot of money from the people who buy the game, then they will move on to another project and people will blindly buy another half-made game to cry again later.

The number of times I heard this time they screwed up deeply and then it has no repercussions....

This basically confirmed that Acerola lied and didn't finish their game in time, yet passed it as ready, try to cover it with 'bugs' as an excuse and slowly finish the game later. These thumbs weren't even here last time as I mentioned in my last few posts. They're just added in 1.04. So the slop was intentionally sold to the public.

From what I can tell, it seems that right now the kidnapping scenes are still bugged and vanish after being defeated. Some defeat scenes still seem to be missing or show the wrong cg´s and the recollection room is all kinds of bugged plus some smaller stuff. I think it´s best to wait for the big voice over patch on the 10th to actually play this game.

edit: It seems a lot of the cg´s are still missing, from later party members.

It's what people have to blindly trust in companies so I don't feel sorry for whoever bought the game either with how easy it is to wait a week to see how things are. Besides, I wouldn't even think of buying from a store that doesn't accept refunds.

Because it is a Japanese company does not mean that it is more honest than the rest. A company is a company and the objective of a company is to make money, nothing more and nothing less. The rest does not matter as long as there are always benefits.

I think the bigger villain here is dlsite. No game developer actually wants to release a broken game, and acerola had good relations with their customers for many years. They made deals with dlsite and that cafe collab and couldn´t delay it more than a month.
Unfortunately they have no clue how to actually communicate with their customers and rather took the gamefreak (stay silent) approach. I get that they can´t talk about what exactly went wrong or who is at fault, but they absolutely should have made a clear road map and detailed patch notes afters every update. Dlsite is also scummy for not stopping sales, steam would have handled this completely different..

Nah, as someone who played all their previous games on release, this is the first time. All their previous games barely have any bug. It's sad that this game released in buggy state and Acerola is being dishonest. But, this game is their biggest project until now and they lost their core member during development so I'm not mad at them. There must be reasons that they have to rush the release but it doesn't matter now, I just hope they fix the game quickly, at least the steam version should be playable on release.

I can't tell you because I've only played Kagura versions, so when I play them everything is usually fixed
But I can assure you one thing lately, Japanese games come with many errors, especially RPGm.

I played their game before Kagura even exit, when people still questioning if they are rebranded Saboten. You can check their older games on dlsite, Acerola had good reputation and most of their games are well received with thousands of sale.

The thing is, Acerola is not some new doujin game circle that only release one or two hit games. They have been in business for decade with well-founded reputation. Their name alone should assured quality, which is why seeing them fall this low is not funny and quite hard to believe. At least they don't close the comment section on their ci-en, which is what most doujin circle would do when release a buggy mess.

Are all the scenes unvoiced? Its weird the story from what i played had voice acting. but every single H-scene seems to be unvoiced? Is this a bug or did they really not voice the H-scenes?

The official release is February 11
Anything you play before that date is an unfinished product.
