+1 implies that you agree with the previous or referenced comment. like you approve it's similar to a "like" , usually this practise was common when the forum didn't have any like button but it has now but people still continue that practise

i imagine that the "remake" part of this game is just the upgraded CGs.( at least the dev never talked about new dialogue in any of his posts as far as i known)
I didnt look at the actual dialogue but if it was indeed the same beetween versions it would be possible to just "port" it to the remake.
