like part 2, part 3 uses ruby as well. So i assume there wont be a translation soon (if ever)...

yea there is alot of technical mess for translators and testers as the game is far from the conventional rpgm games that can just be run through a autotranslator corrected and patched. if it was it would maybe be mostly done in a month and completed in 2
some news on the translation - even though best case is 2 months i would estimate it taking up to half a year if not more. the reason for that is because the translator will need to deal with not just the translation but also other confusing technical stuff. the game will probably need backups, get compiled and bugtested many times if something goes wrong. but the possibility of a usable translation being done in 2-3 months is still there

Good... As the game is completed, now a proper translation can finally start for this game.
Yeah some of these quests are insanely specific and odd to figure out. One tip, try using google translate on your phone. You can translate images by taking a picture. It was enough for me to get through most of the game.

Had the same problem because the folder path was too long. Try shortening it, might help.
