WARNING this a machine translation for version 1.11. Only editing I did was to remove translation mess ups like "QC exydiof" for "\C[10]". Some of the combat text and world map text seem to be from images and since I do not know Japanese I did not touch those.

ADDITIONAL WARNING I have only played through the first fight. There should be no glaring issues but if you get any errors please let me know and I will try to fix them.

FINAL WARNING this game was designed for real time battles using RPG Maker MV :eek:. With Japanese text there are no issues but when I inserted the translation the battle seemed to have user input lag. My work around is to go into the game options and turn battle speed to 0.5 which made it more tolerable. If anyone has an idea on how to fix it please let me know but my best guess is that the larger number of English characters are causing the slow down but I am lazy and don't want to go through thousand plus lines of combat text to shorten them down while maintaining meaning to even see if that is the true cause.

I want to set expectations before an onrush of MTL and battle slowdown related complaints flood this thread.

I do not have a good link for this game, hopefully someone else can find one.

If anyone wants to build off my initial efforts feel free, I am including the trans file for reference.

how do you use your translation?
The Machine Translation file needs to be extracted and you use those files replace the files in the "\www\data" game folder.

If you are talking about the trans file, you need to use Translator++ if you desire to tweak the translation.

Re-looked at my previous work and fixed the game speed issue in combat. Somebody :whistle: failed to fix the syntax errors that arose from batch translation which caused issues with certain plugins used by this game. The new patch should fix this issue.

The game's text is still Google translation Engrish and many spots are still untranslated. Thinking about diving into this one as my next project for editing but haven't made up my mind yet.

On a side note, does anyone know how to fix the character spacing when using English for the mc's name?

+1, would love if someone picked this one up properly. I've played through with the machine translation, but it deserves better than that (and more complete).

Hey all. Now that I am bored and still waiting on 7F, I decided to take this up for a fully edited translation. Was not happy how the quick fly by night auto translation was and how I broke the animations. Warning upfront that this will be a slow process, over did it on my last real project.

The way I am going to translate this is a first pass using translator++ then use some web apps to verify the text for the initial translation and ensure no syntax errors arise. After which I will run through the game with the translated text, RPG Maker MV and notepad++ to ensure the context is captured and quash any bugs.

I believe it will be possible to translate most of the picture text as well but my skills in photoshop/gimp are lacking. If anyone wants to take that piece on feel free to contact me. Otherwise I plan to do this last and it may look like shit depending on how burned out I am.

Not all heroes wear capes,just dont abandone the work without saying like some assholes do ok?

Trust me, I at least want to see a coherent version of this game's dialog.

As for an update, plugging along with Translator++. It is slow going and not fully sure of the context with some lines based on how Translator++ pulls out the text (e.g. is text line 454 responding to text line 453 or a different scene all together, Translator++ pulls all events into one list so it is hard to tell). The refining phase is going to be key to ensure I capture the intent for each scene, this first part is grunt work getting the words to an 80% solution.

Also, confirmed that there are scripts that display text which are overlooked by Translator++. Going to do those as well but it will add time, improperly changing those will break the game (e.g. using an apostrophe for dialog tend to break rpg maker on these scripts).

Content warning - While briefly skimming some text, I believe there reference of one enemy changing MtF off screen in this game (unable to confirm until I get to that part). If that is a deal breaker don't complain to me, the lowly translator. But when looking at the art assets it only has women and the MC so who knows...
