Yep same problem. nice try but it seems that is a problem with some part of the data. i tried with the normal parts but it may be one of the 540 maps. i will wait until someone solves it. have work tomorrow

using the save files from the demo is not recommended since there is change in art and dialogue, and from the bug report it seems that there bugs in demo save when used with the full version

oh man author just said that there will be a chapter 2 of this game or I think a continuation of the Crypt series. Probably gonna take another year

I went ahead and got an untranslated copy of the game, and then played it to the scene where the error message came up. I then copied the save over to the translated version, and that at least got me through this error. Here's that for anyone who wants it.

How do you transfer the files to the game

I still haven't played the game but the author is making bug fix patches as we're talking since there seems to be quite the amount of bugs being reported. Currently on 1.0.3, maybe since you got a copy of the game you're not having that issue? Still, be aware of copying a save file from a different version to another one... Hoping y'all are having no issues so far after that scene
