Sorry, I meant next to this place on the map. Look near this place for a well on the surface (as written in the quest) and then look around the well towards to snowfield

In my playthrough of the game, before doing this quest, I first won at all the tables at a legal casino in town. Also, I played the novice table first, and then in ascending order (apprentice, advanced). If you've already won in town, try winning at the veteran table first (the one on the right in your screenshot)
