Considering the amount of money they made, it'd probably be easier to slap in redrawn (aged up) H-scenes and characters than to make an entirely new game. Or, you know, just redraw the basic models and then remove the h-scenes like usual to later be added back in with a patch.
It's not the only game like this on there. Summer Memories is there, they just remove the boy and leave the protag anonymous even though it's still pretty obvious, but then still let you patch him back in. Both Venus Blood games have bestiality and shota/lolicon just bam, there. Heck Meltys Quest has a shota scene and it's one of the most well-known porn games back from when Valve first allowed erotic games and is still there.
When people say they take down stuff at random, they really do mean random. There are actually more than a few games with shota/loli/bestiality and so on at Steam, and it's all stuff that specifically goes against their policy.

I asked them on twitter myself because I thought the same thing and they said not to worry that their publisher would handle that. Either they have a lot of blind faith in that publisher or they have something in mind for what to do already.

I need the dive skill 2 for the slime girl, but I can't find the object she wants for her quest. The quest says that it is in an abandoned house in the subtropicals, but there is nothing, is it bugged or am I in the wrong direction?
