I had the same error using Google, I had version 6.12.26, but I paid for my subscription. Now I have version 7.1.29 and I don't have this problem anymore.

Yes, DeepL was a decent option, although, as far as I understand, Gemini is much better. I couldn't find the plugin, but I tried testing different models through the "free" API.

because the googletrans library is broken. no translation app translates, and even if it does, the output is incredibly bad and doesn't give the same results as google translate web.
