Hello, thank you for adding Portuguese to your tool.
Today I did some tests with it.
I'm translating the game https://f95zone.to/threads/the-genesis-order-v1-04-nlt-media.101325/
I don't know if I did something wrong, but only the initial menu is translated.
all other files are organized and not translated

this game has a different structure, to translate it you need to add conditions. I'll work on it

look at the size of the map001.json file... if it’s several megabytes, it can take a long time. some files in my tests took 40+ minutes to translate

More than 1 hour, maybe even 2
if file more then 7-10 megabytes

I've made some enhancements to the translator; now, during the selection windows for responses or actions, they will be translated. I've added (a lot of code) the capability to translate non-standard text for the game "The Genesis Order." However, I have not conducted full testing yet, so expect some bugs and be sure to create a backup of the "data" folder.

Additionally, I've introduced the ability to select games on RenPy. If the structure is simple, the game will likely be translated, though the introduction might not be translated. Unfortunately, RenPy games often have a complex structure, but hopefully, we'll be able to conquer this dragon in the future.

An error has occured: Bad request, message: 'formality' is not supported for a given 'target_lang'

but I'm working with an actual full version directly from dlsite. It appears to be a DeepL error message, c.f.

It claims to have successfully translated 4 other files, before glitching out on the CommonEvents.json. I grepped this file for 'formality,' but did not find it. The 'translated data' directory was made, but it is empty. DeepL API usage tab shows no usage yet, but I'm not sure how often that gets updated.

If you can fix this ASAP, I can test it for you right now. Just tried it on a different game, same issue.

Also, people have pointed out that if you don't adjust line lengths, the translated text just runs off the RPGM window. Have you checked for visibility of translated text? Do you do any adjustments for line width?

Finally, here is how the UX renders for me in Wine under Win10 emulation. I've got the DPI rather high because windows under wine doesn't seem to like my 2880 wide native screen.
