On that note: what is the difference, if any, between the "real" Bowsette (painting) and the transformation (fairy witch), aside from how the game spawns them?
Chronologically, the "real" Bowsette is the transformed version as that was the original way she spawned.
The painting thing came much later (Halloween of last year if I'm not mistaken) as an alternative. AFAIK the two are identical in behavior.

Oh, and for your previous post:
did I miss some requirement or did something else entirely made it go kaput.
Did you make sure to enter every other painting in the mansion first? Bowsette painting remains locked until then.
Idk if the cat burglar painting counts as that's the most recent addition. There may very well be bugs regarding that one but I personally can't be fucked to find out.

Yes, all 4. Also, the cat burglar painting is 3.0 content, I am at 2.2 - I simply do not have it :p.

I did have an issue with the goblin painting not giving me a ring when poking the goblin ("yay, get the ring" dialogue -> *poke* -> no ring -> "yay, get the ring" dialogue again, causing a softlock since that sequence is also supposed to boot you from the painting afterwards). That was actually something I wanted to check. I have no idea what I did but the poking eventually worked (after literal days of playing), but I suspect that whatever initially broke there might be related to why the Bowsette painting never activated (for example, the goblin painting never registered as "cleared" for the Bowsette painting).

This might be a weird point of contention, but wouldn't any media taken by people in the extra credit zone still be uploaded by Nintendolls since these are canonically still not real people and are just part of the VR world they created?
True, but not from the perspective of the 'canon' of the virtual universe. In the 'canon' of the virtual universe, some things are uploaded by The Organisation who owns the Academy and the Hotel (perhaps I shouldn't say Nintendolls, since that's confusing; Nintendolls exists on a different level of reality, the one above the virtual reality one, and I'll call that the Shame Games universe). Now when you wake up from the simulation, you discover that in the canon of the Shame Games universe, they used the 'real internet' of that reality level, rather than simulating one for the virtual world. So yes, technically, Nintendolls would have the power to delete all the videos, even those uploaded by simulated bystanders. But 'The Organisation' would not.

...Well, depending on the exact nature of the Extra Credit Zone, I guess. Is that another layer of simulated reality, underneath the Trap Quest virtual game world, run by The Organisation, or is it more 'real' than that, somewhere within the Trap Quest virutal game world, where the predicaments are set up with magic (or clever engineers)?

Just how many layers of reality are there in this dumb porn game?!

(for example, the goblin painting never registered as "cleared" for the Bowsette painting).
I didn't actually document it in the changelist, but I redid the code for leaving mansion painting regions in 3.0, and this actually semi-inadvertently fixed a bug where if the goblin painting was the last one you did, the Bowsette painting would not unlock.

Its all Ogre, just Ogre, so many layers could only lead to it being the dream of an undying eldritch Ogre.

I feel like I've had thi issue once when Bowsette was already spawned by the Fairy Witch. I just assumed that since she was already in the world the game decided it didn't need to spawn her in a second time.

StephenLana13 Oh? My impression was that the "fake" Bowsette was implemented as some sort of backup so that players retain access to Bowsette content if you defeat the "real" one on your first encounter.

Photos / videos taken by the game (the traps) / the oraganisations in the game (the Academy detention camera and stuff set up by the Academy in the Extra Credit Zone) can be deleted, as these are uploaded to accounts controlled by Nintendolls.

Photos / videos taken by other people (bystanders / dashcams in the Extra Credit Zone and real life friends who video call you via the video call traps) were not uploaded by Nintendolls and therefore can't be deleted via that interface (or, currently, at all).

I've had a few people report this bug but have yet to be able to replicate it myself :(
I can try and send you my save if it helps

I have a question!

As someone new who's trying to get into the game- Which art-choice should I download if I want the most robust set of art?? As in-Which one has the most graphical detail when it comes to clothes, transformation, body types, etc.

Clothing window is the only version that shows clothes (Well, Keriax shows heels, chastity, and some bondage gear).
Clothing is really bad at showing transformations. The core character model only changes with genitalia, whether you have breasts (they all look the same size), and extreme hair levels.
All the others are kinda "separate but equal" as far as TF's go so refer to the guide in the OP images for which art style you prefer.
